The resort was beautiful, nice scenery, gorgeous beach. The only draw back was food in my opinion but still had enough choices where I didn’t starve. Room service food was also good and prompt.

RIU never disappoints!
We spent two weeks at the RIU Palace Pacifico. We relaxed at the pools, ate at all the restaurants, watched some shows. It was an overall excellent vacation. We would like to thank everybody but in particular Yuli, Flor, Adriana, (pool service), Mauro and Miguelito (buffet). We have been to a few RIU's and they have different vibes but also include cleanliness, friendliness, and really good food. We're now long term RIU fans.

Fabulous Resort!
We traveled to Palace Pacifico from California to stay for a week. We were met at the airport and had a pleasant ride to the resort. Upon arrival we were greeted and taken to our room. We were impressed with the elegance and size of the lobby and friendliness of the staff. All week long our expectations were exceeded- the food, the entertainment, the activities, and overall cleanliness of the property. We made use of the body boards in the morning before the wind came up, the water exercises, the ping pong tournaments, and the fitness center. The service in each of the restaurants was wonderful and the activities directors made each day fun! We would definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

One of the best vacation!!!
If you want to relax and enjoy the food, swiming, beautiful sunsets - this is the right place! Rio, as always, provides comfortable rooms, friendly personnel and infinite amount of the most delicious food 😀

Loving it
So enjoying our stay here! Only day 2 but wanted to say the place is stunning, clean, relaxing and the food is excellent. W were so warmly welcomed by Tristan at the front desk. He accommodated our request to go on a higher floor overlooking the courtyard with a lovely ocean view. The staff have also called our room twice now checking on our satisfaction. Will write more but had to share!

- AdvisoryRiu Party in Puerto Vallarta will be temporarily paused during the renovation of Riu Jalisco. The renovation will begin on August 18, 2025, and the hotel will reopen on December 20, 2025. As a result, the Riu Party will not be available for guests at Riu Vallarta and Riu Palace Pacifico during this period. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to resuming the Riu Party events upon the completion of the renovations.
