Not enough entertainment or activities for adukts-the pool bar is WAY too small for an adult resort-rainy days there is absolutely nothing going on-if raining, no covered area to get to the main building-glass drinking glasses permitted in & around the pool- not enough English speaking staff members, especially at the restaurants or bars-plenty of seating at the pool’s & restaurants-food a bit above average-if you’re looking for a do nothing relaxing resort this is it-if you’re looking for fun filled vacay, this is not for you Tried Riu 2x, NO MORE

Its been 7 years since we were last here, with the resort getting a full renovation in 2023. We were absolutely impressed with this resort again. We will be staying here again sooner than later. We had sooooo many wonderful staff members assisting in making our vacation one of the best we've experienced. Carlos with beach service to Donys at the Cubano Bar, to Jose, to Ramirez at the beach bar. A giant shoutout to the ENTIRE staff at the steakhouse. Thank you Riu Palace Macao for one of our best and favorite beach vacations

Love The Employees!
First the good-We come back twice a year for the employees and I think the food is delicious but that’s my opinion. Rooms (mostly bathroom) could be cleaner. Mold in show head and grouting. Would love to see the dress code come back because I’m sick of seeing ol bare butts ay the dinner table. My wealthy friends will no longer return to due lack of class. The property and employees are beautiful!

Paradise
This was an excellent hotel one of our best vacations so far we have stayed at other resorts in the Dominican, and we have also taken many cruises. This hotel was stunning. The views from our room were amazing the food was some of the best food that we have had. The pools were nice not overcrowded never had to wait for service anywhere.
