May 20, 2025BIRTHDAY STAY
I had a great time with my wife. Our purpose was to celebrate my birthday and visit my mother's burial site in Chizen Itza. The hotel was clean, and the staff was so friendly. I loved being around my ancestry cohorts and learning about the area's history. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. I hope we can afford to come back and stay.

Another great return trip. Can't say enough nice things about food, service, and personnel. However, they could really use a sign at the entrance to the Lobby from the pool/beach saying proper clothing required. We see too many guest dripping, shirtless, barefoot, barely clothed (thong bikinis) with no cover-up going thru to the elevators and Lobby bar.

Family Trip
Hotel was exactly as advertised. The service was great and the staff were amazing. We came with a big group and were impressed with things for everyone to do. Edgar and staff in the Italian restaurant went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will be back again.

Riu Palace Las Americas was a good place to stay while in cancun it's closed to everything with in walking distance. Their doormen welcomes you a smile and eager to assist you with your luggage while you check in. Front desk personnel were very attentive to our bookings. Since we had 10 rooms at the Riu Cancun and 1 room at the Riu Palace Las Americas the check-In went well in both Riu locations. The properties and rooms were beautiful and well maintained. The pool areas were nice and cleaned also their restaurants and buffet style restaurants were great good food great drinks amazing service in both Riu Cancun and Palace Las Americas. It's a party hotel so be ready to party and enjoy your stay.

Relaxing getaway
Very enjoyable stay. Had a couple small issues with the room. TV cable was broken at the back of the TV so the first time they came up they just pushed the broken cable back in. We let them know so they came up the next day and replaced the TV. Unfortunately the remote did not operate it. Never did get fixed. Minor problem because the only time we watch TV was while we were getting ready for bed or getting ready to go out. Otherwise, this is our second trip here and really like it. Great beach and great service. Spa is great. Would recommend staying here!!
