We were there for a week starting Nov 3,2019. The hotel is fabulous, The service was great all the staff were friendly and helpful! This is one clean hotel!! Our room was cleaned daily and it was great. All the restaurants and the buffet had fabulous food and great service. The beach and pools were clean and great service of drinks, all the drinks were great tasting and served top shelve drinks. This is must do trip!! The location is fantastic , shopping is right across the street! I always love staying at Riu resorts! They do need more variety at the coffee bar. Also the tv channels and reception were not good, but I didn't go there to watch tv. This is a true 5 star hotel! Yes I will return soon!
3 couple adult trip
We just got home from a 4 day long weekend trip. This hotel is very nice and clean. They serve top self drinks. We had a ocean view room and it was great the view was unbelievably! The only issues we had were the choice of food. They only have 5 choices and the menu’s are very limited. They food was just average. Food at Moon Palace was much better and lot of choices. We only had to wait in line one night at the steakhouse. It had a line every night and is just ok. Not sure why the line. One person in our party asked for 2 meals and was told NO. All other all inclusive hotels I have stay. You can order and eat whatever. This really bothered me! They were very stingy with the choices and amounts of food. I probably would not stay again at this hotel due to that reason. We did love the hotel and location.
Heaven on Earth
What's not to love? The staff, food, drinks, service, rooms, cleanliness, etc were all top notch. I've been going to this RIU for seven years, and compared to the others I've visited, there is no contest. RIU Palace Las Americas rocks!
Exceeded my expectations!
My first time to Mexico! The resort was just amazing! The wonderfully warm and friendly staff catered to our every need! Beautiful rooms and great food! Location also great, not far from the airport or any excursions that we chose to do. Can't wait to go back!
Best Riu I have been in Food was awesome (a lot of fresh seafood). You do not need to wait in line fir the steak and lobster restaurant -the buffet is actually better ;) The Sakoru was a great choice of Asian restaurant and Ismael was the very best waiter anyone can ask for. The indoor stake house waiter Miguel was great serving us. Try the curry lamb dish with couscous. Service in this hotel is absolutely immaculate! Cleanliness is unbelievable! I have been in a lot of Riu resorts, but this one is best so far.
