Once in a lifetime experience!
Riu Las Americans has the friendliest staff and it’s the cleanest resort I’ve ever stayed at. The resort is alluring and breathtaking. My boyfriend and I looked for weeks to find the best resort to stay at for our couples vacation. We wanted something 5 star, relaxing but also alive. After a lot of searching we booked this resort and I couldn’t have asked for a greater quality place. Their superior hospitality surpasses the competitors. The staff goes way out of their way to always make sure you’re comfortable and ask if you need anything. They are always cheerful and greet you whenever you pass by in the halls. The staff is helpful with questions and recommendations on food and recreational activities. The decor and ocean view is stunning. The pictures don’t capture how beautiful and spectacular this place is. The views from the balcony are mesmerizing and the ocean sounds are calming while relaxing on your balcony. I can’t express in words how much fun and how much my boyfriend and I loved this place. We had non-stop fun and we never ran out of options for activities. The resort even provides activities like a scuba diving lesson, and kayaking. We decided to go jet skiing and parasailing. It was a seriously a once in a lifetime experience. While jet skiing we saw stingrays, and huge sea turtles when parasailing. One thing to keep in mind is to keep money for tips. I suggest converting to pesos, it’s a lot easier. We stayed 6 days and didn’t get to experience half of the things they offered on the resort and everything is clean and updated. I read some reviews about how some customers were complaining about other guests playing loud music or never having chairs available and it’s honestly nothing to worry about. There’s two pools and one is for a more lively group, while the other is less busy and is very relaxing. The chairs do fill up fast but its a big resort. My body and I went to the pool at all different hours during the day and we would at least find one chair. If you go to the pool bar I recommend the blue coral drink. Sipping it in the infinity pool looking out at the ocean is something I’ll never forget. Be aware of the vendors though if you are sitting at the edge of the pool. They do ask you to buy things but they aren’t annoying. The resort is very diverse too. It’s not just for younger couples. While we were there we met plenty of guests from all over the world and all different ages. I would definitely stay at this place again! The place was spotless, the food wasn’t bad and the beach is absolutely breathtaking!!
Holiday for anniversary
Hotel very good, and restaurants as well. Dress code for restaurants is very lax which we didn’t like. Glasses of wine being drunk in the pools in GLASS and not in the normal unbreakable containers. Could be a very nasty accident and mean pools being drained!
