Jun 19, 2025Fight broke out such a disappointment for me and my 19-year-old daughter to witness at a nice resort!! During day
I just showed up here for the first time. I’ve stayed at other nice properties and this was such a disappointment for my birthday and my daughter and I were just blown away at the fight at the Pool.! it went on for a long time and the staff didn’t really care to do anything about it but just ruin everybody’s time that wasted a lot of money to watch this had a nice expensive place. It’s ridiculous.

Riu did not provide free airport transfer service as promised in booking and confirmation email.
The hotel boasts free shuttle service to and from airport to the hotel. When I arrived at CUN they did not have my name on the transfer service list even though I had a confirmed reservation for that day and a conformation email for the transfer. When I called Riu, they did not book my transfer nor did the comp my room rate for $80 we had to pay to get to the hotel. Horrendous customer service in this matter.

BOOK IT-OCEAN VIEW ROOM
I had a great stay here! The room was nice and cool, very clean, and the bathtub was absolutely glorious. They had well liquor in dispensers and a fridge fully stocked with beer, which was a nice touch. One thing to note: the Elite Club room service menu is different from the regular one. I had the regular menu, so the room service options were pretty basic. That said, the buffet downstairs was open most of the day and had plenty of food available, which made up for it. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place and would absolutely return.

Wonderful Vacation
The RIU Palace Kukulkan was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. Waking up to that beachfront view was a dream! The resort provided a variety of dining options and provided theme nights which showcased authentic foods. The pools were great and although there was a bit a seaweed along the beach, workers were present each day removing it. RIU Kukulkan exceeded all expectations and I will definitely return to this piece of paradise.
