Would rate Thai hotel 5 out 5 for everything however pillows need to be better. This is our second visit to this hotel, Big thanks to Marimar Luna who made our stay so much better than last time, she is a credit to RIU.

2 weeks of sun and relaxation
Fabulous! Hubby and I went for 2 weeks April 17-May 2 2025. Start to finish we had a spectacular time. Resort is beautiful, all the employees were so friendly and if you wanted anything you just had to ask. Buffet was excellent, and had a just about everything you can think of for all meals. steakhouse was the best of the restaurants. Rooms very comfortable, we stayed in a pool room, and is was nice to be able to just chill out on our own. Main pools were clean and we'll maintained. Very windy when we were there so no beach for us. 10/10 for our holidays. A definite return.

Our stay in April.
Stayed at Riu Palace – great overall experience! The food was solid, and we especially loved the little coffee spot on-site—such a nice touch! The beach is gorgeous, though not much to see in the water (no fish or turtles, so not ideal for snorkeling). The resort is very clean and relaxing, and the staff were incredibly sweet and attentive. The beds are small, so it’s not the best for two people to sleep. Perfect for a laid-back getaway!

A pleasant stay
Just came back from this hotel yesterday. Very pleasant stay, clean room, decent food at buffet and restaurants, nice pools, beautiful ocean, beach with very fine white sand. Mostly the people work here, they are so polite and helpful and hard working to make your stay a wonderful experience. The best area is the coffee bar area with the bar and piano and drink cart, beautiful View of the ocean and the best air conditioning in the whole hotel. A few tips: Go to buffet and restaurant earlier, food is more fresh and much more choice. The steak house is the best for us, faster service and good cut meat. Mexican Restaurant was delicious the first time we went, but when we went again for our last dinner at 8:00, everything is picked through. Beach and ocean is full of seaweeds this time of year, hotel cleans them in the morning, so about 12:00 noon, beach is the cleanest. Be aware of the numbers of young guests here, from infants to toddler, I never see so many children in a resort. They are everywhere, watch your feet when you move around…I was shocked seeing dads ordering drinks with baby in his arms. 24 degrees is the best room temperature you can get during the day with air working nonstop, you might got half degree lower at midnight…I thought our air broke the first day. Pillows are very soft, bed is very firm. There are one or two weddings a day, so large group of people shows up… I love this hotel, but probably go adult only next time.

Our 3rd time here
Great facilities, nice beach, great choice of food. Staff is very accommodating. We have stayed here 3rd time in a row.
