This resort was really nice! Food was excellent! Very clean. Our only concern is that they didn't have a separate bath-room. It had a toilet room that locks, but the tub and a shower are all in the open area. Made it really challenging for a family of 4 to take showers. HOWEVER, they can provide a room separator, you just have to know about this option. Unfortunately we were only told about it at the checkout. So if you are traveling with kids and don't want to go commando in front of them, just ask for a room separation as they don't have any rooms with separate shower rooms that could be locked. The pool music was a bit toooo loud for our liking, but there are several pools with more quiet atmosphere. Beach was gorgeous, the palm trees on the beach just makes your vacation extra tropical. Watch out for seaweed season from April-October. However, the way this resort is located, it doesn't get nearly as much seaweed as Cancun or Riviera Maya. You'll be able to swim in the ocean regardless of the season. We would definitely consider coming back.

EXCELLENTE !!!!
Three days into our visit my wife suffered a broken ankle. The staff was INCREDIBLE! She was brought to our room, a doctor , (Rodrigo Gonzalez) arrived , gave her a shot for pain , had already called an ambulance. She was treated and we were back at the hotel 3hrs after the incident! Nahumi, Mgr Francesco, First aiders Gigi,David & Ramon and the wait staff , Jose Luis, Tulia, Aquimer and many others all made our trip a success inspite of the circumstances. All these people deserve kudos. We will certainly return

Very good
Amazing service, nice rooms and swimming pools. Bartenders are very skilled and make nice drinks. Would love to see beach umbrellas for more shade and improve the cleanliness of the floors in the rooms.

Wedding trip
Very family oriented resort, service was great! Pools were well cleaned, warm but clean. Games/events were very fun and the drinks were wonderful

Excellent Service
Like always Riu's in México are the Best they never disappoints. Excellent customer service food was Delicious room extra clean.
