Amazing TIme & the RIU Palace Cabo!!!!
We just returned from an 8-night stay at the RIU Palace Cabo and can't think we could have spent it any better anywhere else! I cannot comprehend some of the poor reviews about the food!!!! We ate at three of the specialty restaurants and neither was the least bit disappointing! The food was very nicely prepared and tasty. and, the buffet.... not sure what else can be included! Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the variety was out-of-this world. Plenty of seafood, meats, salads, fruits. Amazing! Rooms were very clean as was the entire hotel. The entertainment was alot better than other inclusive hotels we've stayed at. Games and exercise at the pool were very nice. Even though were are in our late 50's we enjoyed the RIU Pool parties (4 per week) at the sister hotel! Although it gets a bit crazy, there were many hotel staff and security ensuring everyone's behavior! We really enjoyed them!! There is not enough I can say about the staff throughout the hotel. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and always happy to serve! Make sure you bring dollars to tip...you'll feel bad if you don't when they treat you like royalty! The beach behind that hotel is not really swimable because of the rough wave/current. We would Uber into the marina area and go to the beach there or to a couple other nearby beaches which were amazing! Uber works great, but you'll have to walk about one block outside of the hotel, as they are not allowed by government regulations in the hotel (during certain hours when there is an inspector outside). It is very safe though and it saved us lots of money on transportation!! We truly enjoyed Los Cabos and look forward to returning...not sure I would look to stay anywhere else other than at the RIU Palace Cabo.
Drunks fighting in rooms, swearing in the bars, now a drunk has vomitted in the pool
Im disgusted at the behaviour of certain guests at this hotel, the management seem unable to control the drinking, so far we have had drunken americans hammering on our room door late at night, witness paraletic guests swearing in the bars and pools at the top of their voices and now to top it off someone has vomitted in the pool bar, ive never seen anything like this hotel, the management have no control.
Publish a show then a football game no idea if show will happen thought they had a sports bar for sports fans looks like the show performers are not happy either as they keep coming to the wings and asking when can they perform
Beach is dangerous
Weather was very nice Food is good but a bit salty Resort is spacious and clean Didnt get to enjoy beach because it was dangerous Kid club geared towards younger kids... If you like the beach choose another resort Overall nice resort...
We were there for a few days back in October. I had a Suite all to myself. We were a group of 10 and I wanted a place for all of us to be able to hang out. My room was ready as soon as we arrived. We all got to hang out there until the other rooms were ready. I've been here before and they've changed a few things. If you want to party, you have to go over to the Riu Santa Fe. I made that trek a couple of times for the pool party, which was a blast. The pools were clean even though we were in them just about all day long. We met some awesome people in those pools. One is even going to join our group in 2021 when we travel to Riu Aruba. The food is ok (just ok) but there's plenty. You can't go hungry. We didn't get to try the steak house. Next time (2122). The drinks don't seem to have much booze in them, so I normally drink wine or champagne. The staff were awesome as always. Always with a smile and an Hola. I'd tell you more, but I have to get back to work. We enjoyed our stay and I was just recently with our group and all want to return. See you in 2022.
