Stayed at this property the first week of June and enjoyed the stay. Loved that this hotel is beachfront and we had no difficulty finding a place on the beach. The beach was truly what will be bringing me back to Aruba. Water was calm and was crystal clear. The food offered at the a la carte restaurants was just ok-we only had a chance to go to the Aruba theme and Italian theme restaurants. Forget about getting a reservation at the steak house unless you line up and queue an hour before they open. Since the food at the a la carte restaurants was mediocre we ate at the buffet for dinner most days. They had theme nights like Mexican, Asian and Italian. The food wasn’t gourmet by any means but I always found something tasty to eat. They have a coffee /cafe shop that made excellent specialty coffees and served desserts. It was a good mid day pit stop. Went to the gym a few times and they really should consider fixing that up. No towels available and water cooler was empty. Some of the equipment was looking a little run down (rust stains starting ) and limited mats for stretching. Hotel is also close to main strip of palm beach with plenty of shops and bars to wander at night. Loved Aruba and would stay at this Riu again.

Last time I was in Aruba was 35 years ago. So much has changed but the culture remains as friendly as ever!

Loved the hotel and food options; my only complaint is the specialty restaurants. You must wait in line to reserve a spot. Sometimes we waited over an hour. Don't know why you just don't take reservations.

Amazing resort in a great location!
Our trip to Aruba was amazing, our first time there and would highly recommend. The RIU Antillas hotel was in a great location, on a soft sandy beach with warm calm turquoise waters. Watching the sunset was an awesome experience every time.

Stayed at the Riu Palace Antilles from June 2 to the 9th 2025, We always stay at the Riu Palace Aruba , but decided to try the adults only this time! Where do I start, the food was mediocre to say the least! Theme nights at the buffet e.g Latin, Italian, American , and Oriental ,with minimal authentic dishes, Food was 100% better at the Sister hotel! Pool was always much colder and windier than the beach but I guess that’s because it gets less sun because of were it’s located . Rooms need some TLC.The Italian Restaurant food was totally disgusting pasta tasted like someone topped the noodles with ketchup best part of the Italian Restaurant was the antipasto bar! Entertainment was not worth watching! Will return to Aruba because the beaches are amazing but not this hotel!
