We loved our week. The people and service were amazing. The property and beach was lovely. The food was delicious at the buffet and the restaurants we were able to get in. The steakhouse was the only one we couldn't get in. The Friday night RIU party was awesome but the rest of the week entertainment was ok. To improve I would work on some better shows. But overall it was an amazing week and we would go back in a heart beat.

Riu Antillas
Loved staying here. All of the staff were wonderful!! Love the buffets!! Wish there was more entertainment but overall loved the Neon Party and the entertainment staff always had smiles on their faces whether by the pool or inside. Can’t wait to return!!

Nice spot for Aruba Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Riu Antilles. The majority of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice but it was not completely made up when we arrived. Some towels were missing and it took a bit before we got them. The refrigerator was always stocked and the rooms were quickly made up in the morning. The food in the buffet was plentiful and most choices were tasty. I was grateful for fresh salad, fruit and gluten free options. The only problem we had with the room was the air conditioning shut off when we were out and we had a lot of trouble adjusting the temperature especially during the night. Probably due to unlimited alcohol, some of the guest could be rude and loud particularly in the middle of the night. It’s pretty disconcerting to be awaken by drunken brawling. We ended up not calling the front desk but I think others should be aware this can occur. One other thing I don’t like about all inclusives is playing Hunger Games to get a seat at the pool or beach. It’s you either get up at 6:00 am to reserve a spot or wait for someone to leave so you can sit in the shade. Having listed the pros and cons of the property I do think it’s a good value, the grounds and lovely and I would encourage you to book here.

unsanitary bartenders
Be careful with the bar areas making your drinks. People have their own cups brought from the gift shop giving them to the bartenders to get refills. The bartenders are not rinsing or cleaning the personal cups before refilling and using the same spoon and shakers for everyone which means your drink was now mixed with the same shaker and spoon with those who drank out of the personal cups that were brought by the guest. This process should be changed. I know people that ended up sick due to them doing this at the Riu resorts. Other than this unsanitary mistake the resort was great. I brought my own liquor and made my drinks just to be safe.
