Beautiful resort! Clean, impeccably maintained. Group of 8 women late 50’s early 60’s List of Pro/Cons below Pros Swimming pools… each have a different purpose. One large pool very chill and quiet. Middle pool, lively with water aerobics and fun activities. One for volleyball/sports. Two separate swim up bars. Many chairs had a type of cloth awning you could open and close for shade. Also many had umbrellas. There was a bar on wheels that was available and roamed the pools if you didn’t want to go to the swim up bars. More efficient than servers. Outdoor eating area where the pools are with hot dogs/hamburgers, etc. great layout. Rooms-we had a partial ocean view. It was perfect. If you were ocean front, the sun would be directly beating on you all day. Clean and maid service was great Food. Above average for an all inclusive. Great buffet! Loved Italian restaurant not the Asian. Alcohol…. Top shelf available, you just have to ask. Wine choices are great. Entertainment in the theater and lobby bar was fun. Photo Ops…they have roaming photographers at the pool and in the restaurant areas Cons… not enough elevators. If you are on the side of the resort with all of the restaurants underneath; there is only one elevator which is in the lobby. Smoking… 4 in our group of 8 smoked. I completely support non-smokers not being exposed but there were only 3 areas in the entire resort. The worst was the one near the pools. You had to go to the sand where the beach started and stand in the sand in a roped off area with no umbrella or chair. Beach…is BEAUTIFUL but it’s quite a walk. The sand is so soft that you just keep sinking. They have no wooden planks down or anything to assist with the lengthy walk. Once you get there it’s beautiful; but it’s a work out. Disco…not a fan. Dark and small.

Mid-size beautiful resort with friendly, respectful and helpful staff. Check in was quick upon arrival with a welcome champagne drink. This resort charges a $28 USD eco free paid upfront in Pesos or credit card. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The room mini bar gets restocked every two days. I wished they put smaller bottles of water to carry to the beach in the rooms. Food was okay at the buffet. The usual suspects. No reservations needed for the Al-La-Carts. First come basis. Entertainment was good. I enjoyed listening to a live band playing. They have the MJ show and other nightly shows. Aside from the seaweed on the beach coming in overnight. The beach is well kept.

Enjoyable Stay
Everywhere was exceptionally clean, rooms, public areas, restaurants, pools and gardens. All the staff where pleasant and helpful. The food in the main buffet was good with plenty of choice (do notice a lack of some items like shrimp and varieties of cheeses etc from the past stays). The specialty restaurants were good except I had a poor meal in the Italian one. The Lasagna noodles where mush and the sauce not very tasty. There were plenty of beach/pool chairs with shade. The hotel kept the beach free of sea weed each day and did not find much in the water. Drinks were fine and used name brands when asked for. It would be nice if the hotel could supply me with map showing where the various categories of rooms are located. Overall a great stay.

A wonderful place
Everything is great except for the beach, which isn’t shallow, and the path to the beach, which is too short because the sand is too deep.
