Check-in Policy - Deposits or credit/debit card hold authorizations are not requested at check-in. "Minimum age of 18 is required for check-in, an ID/Passport will be requested upon arrival.
Convention Policy : Groups traveling together can book this property for their stay taking advantage of group benefits such as 6th or 11th complimentary guest, Group dinner reservation, One complimentary cocktail hour with a selection of appetizers, One complimentary massage for the group leader, Complimentary room upgrades to the next category, Fruit plate and bottle of wine for the VIP, Private check-in when arriving together, Welcome sign. Hotel Spring Break Policy -
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Latino hotel.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.
a. Parties in rooms are not permitted
6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

This is the second time staying at at a Riu, they don't disappoint. as usual all the people that work there are friendly and outgoing, from the groundskeepers to the ladies' that keep the restaurant spic and span. Riu is top notch for presenting a very clean environment. We had the pleasure of Brian serving us every morning at the buffet, he is such a beautiful soul and a very hard worker. the beach seemed like a hike the first day but you get used to it, it is clean with plenty of seating and as an extra bonus, the police are on the beach and are very approachable. My only complaint would be my room which was disappointing, we were supposed to have a courtyard view, but we got one room that was basically on the second floor roof facing another resort, second room was facing construction ite and having to deal with construction workers sometimes making catcalls at us, not fun because it was uncomfortable sitting on the balcony. We have stayed at the Riu Palace just down the road and i must say i prefer that hotel, but honestly it is a lovely resort and we would go again.

My first time going to a RIU resort and it didn’t disappoint at all. Our flight was delayed leaving from the original destination so we didn’t make it to the resort until late in evening and so all the restaurants were closed with the exception of the sports bar which was 24 hours. It was relatively loud so we just grabbed some finger foods like hamburgers and a hot dog and went back to our room. Though I had checked-in prior on the app, we still had to do so at the counter but was told our room had only 2 queen size bed and king would be considered an upgrade ($) which we weren’t for but Arthur worked his magic and spoke to his manager and got us a free upgrade so we had partial ocean view with a king size bed for our trip. We tried 3 of the 4 restaurants and spent majority of the time at the buffet and food was okay. Didn’t have to make any reservations for the a la cartes which was very convenient. Staff members were amazing and notable mentions are: Jenny (Buffet), Elias HR (Milan and Buffet), Brandon (Steakhouse) and lastly Guildaboro (towel services at the pool).

Great hotel
Amazing hotel with multiple pools, everywhere was very clean, beach amazing with hammocks which were so good! The buffet food was probably the best we have ever had, and we have been to many all inclusive resorts! They even had ready made eggs Benedict on the buffet every morning! The entertainment team were all so friendly, especially Alexis, Marco, Barbie, and Farid! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect Couples Experience in Cancun
We had an awesome and memorable experience. The facility and its services were impeccable and on point. Even though hurricane Helene came thru at the same time as our stay, the staff made our experience delightful. There was always an activity or experience to have. Our waitress at the buffet, Teresita was very pleasant and accomodating. Victoria was very pleasent as well. And at the velvet bar Angeles and Enriqueta kept the drinks coming for our group of 4. We cant ask much more. And lets not forget Cesar at the sports bar and Carlos at the beach. They sure know how to make one feel welcome by making the alcohol flow with the perfect drinks. Wether it was drinks on the beach or at the pool, it was a perfect 10. I was very pleased to see the staff speak multiple languages and treat everyone as if they were receiving us in there personal homes. They obviusly take alot of pride in what they do. When you go to the Riu Latino, dont forget to ask for them and Tip them well.
