Very nice resort with a couple of issues.

Great resort , lush, nice beaches. My biggest complaint is the pool table beds. Hard as rock. Plywood or the floor are good comparables. Going to bed on holidays are important . These poor little pitiful pillows do not add to an already uncomfortable night's sleep . More attention to worn towels with holes in them. On the up note we have hade a great week. The pool Nazi's shut down the kids in our group of forty for playing with a beachball in the pool?????? There just kids playing and the adults were right there??? Thats all i have today.

    Wedding with a large geoup

The hotel was clean, food was good, waitstaff and house keepers were great. Security was terrible, we did not feel safe, they seemed to be out to get our large group. Front desk staff and management was not very accommodating to our large group. There wasn’t a lot to do there either, I wouldn’t recommend this resort for the price.

Family friendly resort with gorgeous beach

We were at this resort as a group of extended family. Kids amenities: kids club is small, but has good events planned. It is in a gated area along with the kids pool. The kids pool has an upgraded pirate ship with slides which were appropriate for the 2-8 year olds. There are larger slides with a bucket dumping water on another structure appropriate for 5-12 year olds. Finally, there is an older model spray pool for the tiny tots. When in the gated area an adult must be present unless the kids are checked into kids club. There is also no food or drinks in cups allowed. The one quiet pool also has short watersides that are suitable for 2yr-adult, but 2 of the 3 were closed in need of repair. Utilities: There is only one bank of elevators in the main restaurant/lobby area. Be prepared for stairs if you want to go to your room from the ends closest to the pool/beach. The resort could use a few more washrooms in the pool area. Rooms: our group had both family rooms (with bunks and king bed) overlooking the main courtyard and king rooms facing away from the hotel. Although the courtyard rooms had a beautiful view, they were very noisy from 8pm- 11pm due to the show each night. If you have small children, pack your sound/white noise machine to help them sleep through the party outside the balcony. There is a door on the toilet and shower, but not on the bathroom. This is fine if you’re a couple or have small children, but makes things difficult for privacy if you have tweens or teenagers. Food: There is no need to make reservations at the a la cartes. Although most of them have gone to buffet style anyway. The steakhouse is the most romantic and fully served meal. The main buffet was varied and delicious with different theme nights. Good selection for both picky eaters and more adventurous foodies. If you plan to do any deep sea fishing, talk to the concierge about having the chef cook your fish for you. We had a wonderful large family meal of fresh mahi mahi ceviche and cooked fillets. The chef definitely knows how to prepare amazing fish. Beach: The resort offers sports equipment on loan. The waves are perfect for boogie boarding and low tide offers lots of fun for the little ones. The beach was large with many trees for shade. There are a few merchants along the North edge of the property. Overall, this resort offered something for everyone in our group. We all enjoyed our stay and would likely go back again in the future.

Some things good. some things fair, some a little off. No clocks anywhere.

Food: It was hit or miss. Never got a good piece of bacon. The steak at the steak place was good one night, and like an old shoe the next. Buffets were okay (not great). If you have been to a cheap Vegas buffet, it's like that. Drinks: WATERED DOWN!! Even name brand spirits (like Bacardi) in a cocktail. The draft beer at the bars has very little flavour. Even the "mini bar" bottles in the rooms tasted off so I avoided those. The Jimador shots and Johnny Walker Red at the bar were better, the wine served in restaurants was cheap but ok as was the canned beer. Rooms: Pretty clean. If you are super picky you may not be happy. There was dust behind the T.V. and the end tables but in general nothing gross. Beds are NOT comfortable, pillows are NOT comfortable. If your back is not 100% perfect you will probably suffer every morning like I did. There is only one set of elevators to the floors. If you are close to the elevator a short walk to your room but more noise. Entertainment: During the day games and sport things. Different themed activities every night. Starts off with stuff for kids then usually music/dancing kind of stuff. The live band they have was quite good and played a variety of music and usually shut it down between 11:30-midnight. The workers there help get and keep the energy up. Tried to go to the discotheque one night but the smell in there was FOUL. Smelled like a million sweaty stinky feet. Finally they shut the doors and closed it down.

    Loved every minute

Just got back from a week in this great hotel. Where do I start...the hotel is extremely clean and well maintained, the staff are amazing and extremely friendly, the food was beautiful with a varied choice, the a la carte restaurants were great and reservations did not have to be made in advance and the drinks choice was massive. I would definitely go back to this hotel and will highly recommend it to everyone I know.
