Excellent Holiday
Wonderful first experience at Riu Resort. Food was excellent as well. Room and Washroom quality can improve a little bit.

Very beautiful hotel, the food is decent, but the beach is a bit disappointing as it’s quite small. However, the entertainment is on another level! If you're looking for a place to party, this is the spot for you. During our stay, there were four themed parties: White Party, Neon Party, Jungle Party, and Pink Party. Have a great trip, friends!

Great getaway
We recently returned from a lovely stay at the Riu Cancun. I really like that the resort is now Adults Only. The location is great - nearby restaurants and bars, if you choose to go off property. You can tell they are really trying - in that there are staff cleaning, painting every day. I enjoyed the nightly Kahoots and shows. We found the food to be good. They don't offer reservations, so sometimes it could be a wait. There is always the buffet with lots of choices. There is some beach - which was free of seaweed. It's really nice that they offer the Riu Party at Riu Caribe for guests (includes transportation and all-inclusive). If you want a spring break experience, but not immersed in it. (offered 4 times weekly) A few concerns: the dresser and closet had a cross between mildew and cleaned smell - so you know they're trying. Definitely expected to wash everything when I got home. Electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work. We did call them - but nothing was done. We didn't keep calling because were able to work around it. Pro tip: Bring an old key card to put in the slot so you can keep the electricity on while you're away. The high rise building casts a shadow on the pool area mid-afternoon, so more challenging to get sun. The last day of my stay I noticed the quiet pool near the Corner Bar doesn't have that problem. (good tip for next stay) Drinks were okay - but uneven mixing and service. Bring your own straw (they don't offer any). It's a great value for an Adults only and they do a nice job. I'd definitely stay again.

Brilliant hotel
Hotel was spotless and staff very friendly. Entertainment was excellent and the food in each restaurant was delicious
