  We generally enjoyed our stay

  We went to Aruba for our honeymoon and stayed for a couple nights at the Renaissance. We generally enjoyed our stay. The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were able to accommodate an early check-in for us, which was very convenient. The location of the hotel was great for us since we could easily walk to cafés, bars, and restaurants. We also had a good time on Renaissance Island. There was a surprising amount of fish to see while snorkeling, particularly at Flamingo Beach, near the rocks at the back. There was also a bit of trash in the water, though, (like a large plastic cup that someone left behind), that we tried to clean up. In addition, the island is right next to the airport, so you will hear planes coming in and out while you are swimming or lounging. Our only complaint about this hotel is that the morning of our check-out, we were woken at 8AM by employees in the hall, drilling and painting directly on the other side of our wall. It seemed like guests could have been placed in a section of the hotel where they weren't doing work, especially for our honeymoon, or it could have waited a few hours for our check-out.

  Our Vacation transformed into pure bliss.

  Ricardo at the front desk provided exceptional customer service. Despite it being late, over 11pm, he went above and beyond to address our check-in disappointments. He took the initiative to call the manager to ensure our concerns were heard. Although the front desk manager didn't quite grasp the situation, Ricardo showed genuine empathy and comforted us with kind words until the morning. His efforts didn't go unnoticed, and we appreciate his dedication to making us feel valued. Lorraine, the GM’s PA and Leidy from front desk transformed our vacation from a disappointing start to an unforgettable experience. Initially, we were frustrated with the check-in process and felt our pre-arranged plans were overlooked. However, Lorraine and Leidy's exceptional service and dedication completely turned things around. They upgraded our room to a spacious one with a stunning pool and ocean view, exceeding our expectations. Their efforts not only salvaged our stay but also made us reconsider having our wedding at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort. We're now excited to potentially host our special day here, all thanks to Lorraine and Leidy's outstanding hospitality. Their actions made a significant difference, and we're grateful for their service.

  Fantastic Hotel with Great Staff

  We had such a fantastic time at the Renaissance Wind Creek Resort. We took advantage of the hotel's happy hour and a huge part of what made it so memorable was our server, Mark. From the very beginning, Mark greeted us with the warmest smile and an energy that made us feel like we were regulars, even though it was our first time. He struck that rare balance of being professional, personable, and genuinely kind. Mark took the time to learn our names, asked thoughtful questions about what we liked, and gave recommendations that were spot-on. He has a natural way of making people feel comfortable and welcome—like you're hanging out with an old friend who happens to know everything about the bar menu. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does, and it made the entire experience that much better. His positive attitude and friendly nature set the tone for the night, and honestly, it’s not something you come across often. Thank you for the great stay Renaissance Wind Creek! Can’t wait to come back!

  Great hotel

  Fantastic experience and great hotel. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The island was an amazing experience. We did a cabana and it was worth the cost. We’ve been through the Caribbean and the people everywhere were much more friendly than other islands we’ve experienced. Top notch hotel.

  Beautiful, clean rooms, great staff!

  Comfortable bed, terrible pillows. So happy I packed my own, husband regretted not doing so. Amazing staff everywhere you went. ESPECIALLY the housekeeping staff! They were amazing and came by twice a day to make up the beds and tidy up in the morning and in the evening to make sure you had towels and water and left delicious chocolate on your pillows. Very clean, pretty rooms. Aquarius buffet restaurant was a little pricey at $40/person even if you just wanted a muffin or a yogurt. Better go on an empty stomach and eat all you can. Steak house was a special birthday treat, also a bit pricey, but HIGHLY worth the price! Definitely recommend it. Took the water taxi to the private flamingo island where there is an adult only side and a family side. Flamingos travel to both sides and you can buy food to feed them. The water is clear and beautiful and the water floats are free so you can relax, lying back in the ocean. Wait staff are great and pass by frequently to make sure you always have a drink or food if you like. Can charge to the room or pay at the end of your day. Decent prices. Drinks average $10-13. We preferred the island to the infinity pool and only spent a couple of hours there in our 5 days at the hotel. My husband spent time at the casino on grounds, and we took a stroll around the attached shopping mall which has a lot of high end stores like Prada, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, etc. a lot of restaurants in walking distance, along with souvenir shops.
