Centrally located within walking distance of the shops and Beach. The facilities at the resort, which is only a 2 minute walk are excellent. The pool area is very clean and offer the use of pool towels with a bar and restaurant. The resort leads directly onto the beach.
The Birthday Treatment!
My fiance and I came here for the start of our Hawaiian Islands hopping adventure. They upgraded us to a 2-Bedroom suite when we booked a 1-Bedroom. Overall, there really aren't any complaints. Perfectly central location in Waikiki Beach where you can walk to everything. Lots of storage and closet space. We enjoyed staying in watching Netflix some nights and there's this great Italian restaurant below that had our pizza ready to go within 30 minutes of ordering. It was good too. No onsite pool but we were able to access the neighboring Outrigger Reef Resort's so we just went there.
Wish we would've stayed somewhere else.
Sooooo this place puts you in the mindset of a Hawaiian Red Roof Inn. Our room was small and outdated. The air conditioner was the most annoying part. It barely blows! We were sweating during the night. We are not picky people so we said lets sleep in the living room under the air. (Maybe that will be better) Open up the pull out and there is a disgusting stain. Cleaning fee was 255.00 but I guess they missed that part. Needless to say we dont sit on that couch. The place needs a touch up. Mix match lamps, old green chairs...just not doing it for us. Our bathroom was nice. The only thing that makes this hotel ok is the location. You are minutes from everything. Convenient shopping, restaurants, beach etc. There is literally an ABC store on every corner. Also the staff is very nice. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money to get a nice hotel. We won't be staying here again. Sorry.
Let me start by saying the location of the actual property is what sold us initially and also the 2 bedroom set up was perfect for our group of 6 girls. However, we quickly realized we could have splurged on a much nicer hotel after checking in a being informed of a “cleaning fee” which was an extra $367 for the 3 nights we were there PLUS $35 a night for parking. We expected a parking fee but definitely not a “cleaning fee”. We later checked the online booking and all it said was “hotel is subject to charge additional fees onsite” with NO AMOUNT shown or anything about cleaning! Once we got to the room, we noticed black fuzz and MOLD on the bathroom ceiling! We called the front desk and they sent maintenance to check it out. All he did was WIPE IT OFF. No offer to go to a different room, no answer to our “is it safe to stay here?” etc! At this point, we were exhausted from our flight and was starving so we let it go. The next day, we asked the front desk about cleaning our room. They informed us they don’t have housekeeping here daily. When I asked about the trash specifically, the front desk told me there’s a DUMPSTER IN THE PARKING LOT! WHY are we paying almost $400 for a “cleaning fee” when we have to take our own trash out!!! It’s ridiculous! Overall, this hotel was NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! Take into consideration the surprise fees and your own cleaning service on vacation before booking here!!!
Perfect Family Apartment
Upon arrival we were greeted with a cheery Aloha .. and were every morning and time we passed through reception. Our flight had arrived early and the lovely receptionist changed our room so we could check in straight away. A bonus after a 12 hr night flight. Apartments had plenty of room and well stocked. If you ran out of anything they were happy to replace it for you at reception. Laundry facilities available within the building - handy not to go hunting for a laundromat. Great location and only a 200m stroll to the Reef Outrigger to use their pool. Balconies a reasonable size so all 4 of us could relax out there comfortably. Enjoyed our stay.
