Our one year wedding anniversary and Halloween
Stayed here from October 25 to November 2nd. The hotel is across from the Hard Rock Cafe which is on the Main Street thru Waikiki and one block from the ocean, loved the location. Right across from us was a car rental called Ace which worked out great for us as we didn’t need to pay the $45 a night at the hotel. The best happy hour is at Sky Waikiki it’s from 5:30 to 10 every night and drinks are $5 plus it’s 18 floors up in a rotating bar. Halloween was amazing, I’ve been to Vegas for Halloween and this was better. We did use Lyft a few Times and it was great. All I can say is we had an amazing time, oh ya it was 86 degrees during the day and 75 at night. 🏝🎉🥃❤️
Spend the money and stay somewhere else - Cleaning Charge / No amenities
The room itself was fine and had a fully stocked kitchenette. Bed was comfortable enough and overall a spacious 1 bed apartment For a 3 night stay we were presented with a $280 cleaning check out charge that no one had made us aware of. They did not clean the room during the stay so this is all purely a check out fee! How they can charge such a high charge is incredible, wish I had not tidyied up before we left the room! There are also absolutely no amenities in the hotel - everything is down at the sister hotel. You are lucky if the water and coffee is avaliable in reception. Though staff were polite they were not always very helpful e.g. there was a parade on the day we left so signs on the road saying it would be 1 way and no stopping. When asked at reception what this meant for a Uber to the airport they just said dont know - wait and see. Would not return to this hotel, and wish we knew about the cleaning charge so could have stayed somewhere else for the money
Reasonable lodging in heart of Waikiki
While a little dated and lacking in any luxury feel my family of 6 had all the space we needed in a good downtown location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking areas was a little hard to find at first but always had ample spots. This is a good block from the Reef Outrigger, which is right on the beach. Though the hotel doesn't have its own pool or fitness area, guests get access to both (and beach towels) from the Outrigger Reef. There was a small kitchen area, though we didn't really use it during our stay. Overall, for a larger family, this met all of our needs, but lacked any luxury feel or many amenities. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We were even able to watch downtown fireworks from our balcony. I'd definitely consider staying here again (though I think my older kids missed the amenities). Good value place.
Centrally located within walking distance of the shops and Beach. The facilities at the resort, which is only a 2 minute walk are excellent. The pool area is very clean and offer the use of pool towels with a bar and restaurant. The resort leads directly onto the beach.
The Birthday Treatment!
My fiance and I came here for the start of our Hawaiian Islands hopping adventure. They upgraded us to a 2-Bedroom suite when we booked a 1-Bedroom. Overall, there really aren't any complaints. Perfectly central location in Waikiki Beach where you can walk to everything. Lots of storage and closet space. We enjoyed staying in watching Netflix some nights and there's this great Italian restaurant below that had our pizza ready to go within 30 minutes of ordering. It was good too. No onsite pool but we were able to access the neighboring Outrigger Reef Resort's so we just went there.
