Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is Sub Par, Be sure to know you need a reservation for anything at the property
Overall the experience of the hotel was sub par. The staff was not engaged and did not seem like they wanted to be there. This caused for poor service at many of the venues with heavy wait times for service. It would take upwards of 20 minutes for a server to greet you at the pool. Majority of the time you had to chase one down. You have to make a reservation for dinner at any of the restaurants majority of the time they would say they were full with many empty seats in the restaurant. Which made it hard to understand and I am not sure what the hotels expectation would be, should you not be able to eat. Resorts should schedule their staffing levels based on occupancy and knowledge of the audience staying at your property. Reservations for shuttles had to be made to get to the different resorts, I’m not sure why they couldn’t just run every half hour. We requested one at 1230pm and the next available shuttle was not until 3:20pm. This caused us to take a taxi instead. The pool was not heated, so unbearable to get in. The best bartender by far for Angel who made the experience a little better. The spa services were great but I would not recommend hair and makeup services as they had to be completely redone as the staff had no idea what they were doing. I would not recommend staying at this hotel or any of its sister resorts. It was unfortunate that this was my experience as I had heard great things about this property.
We have been traveling to Cabo in may to celebrate 40th birthday of one of my closest friend and stayed in Pueblo Bonito Pacifico. Everything was great. Specially we liked food in the restaurants and we had tequila tasting where we met with food and beverage director Juan Manuel Cervantes. I would like to mention his highly professionally job. We managed our own restaurant in Spain too so we know what a hard job he is doing, we could say that seeing happy faces of people working in the food and beverage area. With a such hight qualified leaders in your hotel you would always have success. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a wonderful time staying at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort this past May. The facilities were great as was our suite - two balconies with a beautiful view of the ocean. Meals and drinks were also great, and any resort staff encountered were extremely hospitable. We will definitely return.
My husband and I, along with six other close friends, stayed at the Pacifica for seven nights (May 18-25, 2019). The resort was beautiful and stunningly maintained. We loved the food, the four-star service, the spa, and the amazing views. Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable and very much worth the $$! On top of all the kudos regarding the resort, our entire party wishes to offer a special “shout out” to our personal butler, Feliciano. He was wonderfully well versed in English, and provided the utmost in professional services. We relied on him for advice on restaurants, transportation, events, activities – not to mention his supreme expertise in mixing the best margarita this side of anywhere! We highly recommend the resort – and if you are as fortunate as us, to experience the personal service of our friend, Feliciano!
Memorial weekend Anniversary trip
The resort is beautiful and calm, definitely can relax. We sat in our balcony often and left the sliding open to hear the lovely waves. The food needs to be updated to better quality. I had better food at the sister facilities. I thought this resort was better quality more high end. We were disappointed with food. The service was occasionally slow. No one really hustled. I wish they had more open food options, like an outside coffee bar, a fruit station( Mexican fruit with tajin) more food options that are easily accessible. I wanted a shrimp cocktail from the pool restaurant, and they told my husband we couldn’t take it to the room. Our luggage took too long time to get to our room/ our room wasn’t ready even though we arrived late to the resort @ 12:30. They gym was amazing with beautiful view of ocean. I was so disappointed on our last day . Our butler extended our checkout time to 1pm since we had a late flight ( which that part was fabulous). However after sleeping in on our last day . We used the gym one last time and when went to reception to have them hold our luggage while we grabbed a quick breakfast. They told us our all inclusive was done . Our butler has told us 1 o’clock . So not only did we only eat a minimal at the resort we couldn’t even get a last breakfast meal.
