We’ll be back!!
This was my first time in Mexico since being a minor and my boyfriends basically 100th time. Neither one of us had been to Cabo and we absolutely loved it. This resort isn’t like regular 5 star hotels but in my opinion it’s a quaint small 5 star resort you never want to leave. We absolutely fell in love with the staff here, from the minute we walked in to when we left we felt like family. Every staff member greeted you with a smile every time you saw them, they remembered our names and always engaged in conversations. Benito, Bernardo, Valentin, Enan, and Ishmael were the main guys who worked out by the pool and they were absolutely amazing. Never had to worry about an empty drink as they always had one coming as you were finishing the one you had. Jose, Victor, Orleans, Jeremiah were the usual guys in the lobby bar and buffet and they amazed us as well always had us laughing. Luis was the first employee we met and he was amazing wouldn’t let me touch my bags until he had dropped them off at the room and always greeted you in the morning. They even surprised me with cake and sang me happy birthday on my birthday. The food was fantastic we never had any issues with it. They only have the buffet but change the themes every night and you never tire of the food. The omelettes in the morning are a must have and worth the line. There was never a problem getting a day buzz on as they pour very generously, so if you don’t like strong drinks ask for a single. If you have any issues deciding on what to drink ask Valentin or Jose to make you a special drink and they won’t disappoint! There was entertainment every night in the lobby karaoke, mariachi, live music, marimbe. The gentleman that ran the karaoke and dj’d was fantastic and so funny. He would do anything to try and get you up to sing. The mariachi band even serenaded us. The rooms were clean and the AC worked very well even too well sometimes as we woke up shivering in the night. I recommend you request a partial ocean view or full ocean view as it’s quieter and has such a nice view. I could go on about what we loved about this resort forever, I have no complaints! Thank you Posada for making us feel like family, we will be back!!!
This is a lovely hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good food, and a beautiful beach. I definitely plan t
My room was very comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. I wich the Jacuzzi could have been working, but that was a minor inconvenience. I enjoyed most of the music at night. It was nice that there were a lot of families, but the children weren't a problem. my room was very quiet and peaceful.
Best time ever!!
My husband and I just got back from a week at the Posada Real! We loved it, the staff were amazing, treat you like family. It is a smaller resort, so its very easy to get to know so many other people. We played darts, beach volleyball, they had karaoke nights, themed dinners and excellent breakfasts. The only thing I would change.....mattresses weren't the most comfortable and if I was the hotel I would try and put families with little kids on one wing and adult couples, taking a break from kids, on another wing so you are not woke up early. Jerry and Rosario ran activites, so much fun. Valentin makes the best drinks at the pool bar and your servers at the beach are amazing. You tip well, you will be served like a king and queen, and trust me their service warrants the tip. Groundskeepers do an impressive job and often go unrecognized but start their day quietly watering at 4am. We have already booked our next stay in August and are bringing our 4 older (20, 20, 17, 17) kids down for a week! Tell them Jamie and Juanito (john) sent you!!!! See you guys in August!
A real Mexican Experience in Cabo and excellent location!!!!
This hotel was just what we were expecting when we booked our trip to Cabo: Lots of local people, real mexican food and a real kind and lovely crew in all the hotel. This is an old style small charming hotel (compared to the typical international chains that offer the same anywhere that you go). The decoration is typical mexican, full of colors and cacti on the yard. The rooms are big and comfortable. the mattress of the beds was a bit too hard for us. We first stayed at the regular room with garden view and the mattress was like a rock, we then changed to an oceanview room and the bed was bigger and comfortable, although a bit hard still. They have many offers from room alone, breakfast and drinks included or all inclusive. For us, drinks and breakfast was perfect because you could be drinking in the pool but you can go to have dinner somewhere else and come back at night for a drink and a Mariachi show. Even on a full moon night, there was a bonfire outside with drinks and the Mariachi show that was such a memorable and great moment of the trip. The Buffet food was delicious, home made and there were stations where the servers recommend you things to try. Guadalupe from the Breakfast, made in front of you, corn tortillas and quesadillas and explained us all the "secrets" apart from recommending us which was the best filling of the day: Rajas (peppers), mushrooms or cacti. By the swimming pool, Benito was the special guy that remembered everything and knew what is it that you wanted. Bernardo was the bartender in the pool that was also very kind and nice. Really, all the people that we interacted with, maids and receptionists, servers and all were super friendly and excellent. Also, there's a tour agency that can arrange trips for you and they even come to pick you up in the hotel. Thanks guys !! It was such a great experience in Cabo!
Wonderful space, wonderful staff, wonderful location. Absolutely loved our stay here, it felt much more personal than the giant resorts. Amazing food/drinks and a safe, friendly atmosphere. Would return and recommend!
