Worst resort do not recommend
Please please please READ!! This resort is not worth 5 stars it's not worth the 1 star I gave it. My husband and I booked with a travel agent she was wonderful. But I should of done more research and reading reviews instead of looking at just pictures. I don't think they've updated the photos for about 7 years!! Lots of things happened on our 5 day stay at yukatan princess spa resort adult only. We booked the PLATINUM hottub suite. Let me just say don't waste your money on PLATINUM! there is nothing extra that you get with that. There are 2 different lobbies a platinum lobby and deluxe lobby (lowergrade) but honestly there's was better. First off we get up to our room and we want to take a hot relaxing soak in the jacuzzi on the balcony. I noticed after 40 minutes that something wasn't right since it wasn't filling up so I went out and checked and the water was draining from one of the jet hoses in the back of the tub all over the electrical unit and wires!! Complete HAZARD. We thought we will deal with that in the morning since it was 12 at night. I move on to the big tub in the room.....the plug is broken, and I can't soak in that one either. So I guess shower it is. As I'm taking a shower, it was filling up and pouring out into the bath area, not draining. The drain was broken!! This point my husband is upset he goes down to concierge desk to tell them all the issues. They say before we switch rooms, maintenance needs to come check it out. Like they don't believe us but whatever go ahead. They agree the room is trash and they move us over to the next room. It is now 2am. Everything seems fine. We wake up the next morning and it sounds like it's raining in the room. Sure enough a whole in the ceiling. We ask them if maybe we can just move down to swim out suite. They say yes but there is a $1,400 us dollar charge. ARE YOU KIDDING! When I originally booked it would of been a 250.00 extra charge for swim out and they want to charge me 1,400 NO WAY!. THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THERE GUESTS. I DONT NOT RECOMMEND this resort at all.

Turtle tour
Miguel at Live it Tours organised our trip to the cenote and snorkelling with the turtles 🐢 We were picked up from our resort, Miguel the tour guide was fantastic, spoke three different languages to accommodate the parties. We had a fabulous day, I would highly recommend.

The Spa at the Plantinum Yucatán Princes is so good
Hotel is pretty much big, comfortable rooms, too much humid, not good pillow, the best customer service mainly at the consergie and at the Spa. They have Isabel making extraordinary massage and you need to try the thermal circuit. Nice food and the premises are complete. Just one thing: you need to share the hotel with the Coatis and Iguanas LOL.

We had a great time.
Just back from this hotel (14-29 sept 24). It was a last minute replacement for our original booking and I must say it did not disappoint. The staff were very helpful and the room was huge and very clean if somewhat tired. We had a swim up room and it was brilliant but we had to take sun beds from the main pool as the ones you get at the swim ups are pre-formed plastic and not very comfortable. Special mention to Armando in the buffet restaurant, such a pleasant and nice man. Nothing too much trouble for him. Also a special mention to Jovita who initially served our drinks at the pool then at the main bar, she was brilliant. Very attentive and brought drinks without even being ordered. Very very nice lady. Would recommended booking at the a la carte restaurant at the sister hotel next door as they were brilliant. The Japanese a la carte here was fabulous. Plenty of choice / variety at all meals timings at the buffet although sometimes the hot choices weren’t alway piping hot. My only negative point would be the very arrogant and noisy Americans that were staying at the same time as us. Overall I would recommend this hotel. We had a great time.

Excellent Hotel
We stayed here for 2 weeks recently with our friends and had the swim up rooms at the far end of the hotel which was lovely and quiet ! There were swim up rooms next to the main pool but unless you like it to be noisy and busier then would opt for another area. We were served all day at our pool area by a fantastic waitress called Jovita, who made sure we were never short of a drink, she brought us cocktails we had never even heard of and was such a chatty character that we got to know here quite well during our stay. She is a credit to the hotel. All the staff are super friendly and especially Armando who served us coffee in the restaurant, again he was amazing. The hotel was quite empty when we were there and not sure if it was due to time of year or not but it suited us fine, not sure if I would have enjoyed it so much if it had been full as it’s a big complex with a large amount of rooms. Food was excellent with numerous A’la carte restaurants to choose from which we did not have to book, we just turned up. Men had to wear long trousers in these restaurants. Buffet was like any other buffet but plenty to chose from. I had read a previous review about the Coati’s running about the area and there are lots of them about. Bit of a cross between a Racoon and Badger but they are so clever in trying to get into your rooms but as long as the door is properly closed, it’s not an issue, they are actually quite cute. They are only looking for food. Lots of other wildlife around the complex but did not cause any issues. Could not really fault the hotel at all 👍😋
