    La Palapa

    Hi to our friends at the La Palapa...from breakfast to lunch the food at the La Palapa was just amazing...shout out to the cooks...and especially the staff...Juan Carlos, Evelio, Renau, Danura, Roman, Gabriela, and of course Elizabeth our hostess. You guys made us feel at home. My wife and I had a great time dining with you and we look forward to returning. Thank you!

    Best Vacation Ever

    We had the most amazing time. Clean, friendly and the service was amazing! We did the Royal Service option, and were extremely impressed! Renau was our waiter most mornings at the La Palapa restaurant. He was always there knowing we wanted our coffee right away, he was extremely attentive and was always checking in with us before we could even ask for anything. Danura and Elizabeth at the La Palapa restaurant were so warm, and took care of us like family. We were sad to leave them. The service we received every morning for breakfast and some lunches was wonderful. Their kindness and excellent service won't be soon forgotten. Others that helped at La Palapa were Juan Carlos, Roman, Evelio and Gabriela, very kind and the food was always excellent. We LOVED the M Bar. Jobni made our week! He was so knowledgeable and we learned so much. His creations were so delicious and we could have sat there for hours watching him create the most beautiful drinks I have ever seen. He will be one of the reasons we will go back to this resort! Also we loved Alfredo at the Royal Service pool, always had a smile and was someone we looked forward to seeing everyday. He worked so hard and were always asking if we needed anything. Alfredo often knew exactly when to come over, and was always so kind. The first day we were there, he was so kind and helpful and bringing me excellent drinks by the pool. Elias would help us in the morning with our towels, made sure we had enough water. He was always so willing to help, with a smile. Ximena, our butler was wonderful. She often surprised us. For our anniversary, she poured us a bath with rose petals and a bottle of champagne. She was always there to help with reservations or to answer our questions. If we needed anything in our room, she made sure to accommodate us. We will be returning next year!

    Best All Inclusive Resort experience ever!!

    Ive been to a variety of all inclusive resorts in Tunisia and Egypt and this was a different level. We did royal service and you were treated like royalty. Amazing service and food quality and variety. Lapalapa was amazing , which is only available on royal service.

    Frannie's 40th #disfruta40sputa Event

    i chose this resort as i have been here a couple of times prior to deciding on the venue to celebrate my 40th. they did not disappoint! the group events process was seamless - many thanks to ana moncada (for all the help since day one!) and the entire group events crew: dulce, areli, nahiely. their attention to detail is amazing and they followed all of our instructions to the tee. the entire process was smooth - from check-in to group dinner reservations, etc. - and they were so keen on making sure my guests and i were enjoying our stay at the resort. everyone was in good spirits and had a great time during our 3-night stay (i personally was there for almost a week but most everyone was there for at least 3 nights). the staff was amazing - they cater to your every need and make sure that you don't lift a finger. their culture is to guarantee that each guest is fully immersed in the laid-back lifestyle to forget their daily worries behind. in any case, i do want to give a special shout-out to the staff who assisted us in every step of the way: check-in/group coordinator: ana moncada frannie's 40th event at the gazebo: ana, carmelino, guillermo, david yhi spa: alberto (the best!) red lounge: carlos and capitan gamalial south bar: nancy sunset bar/pool bar: israel, mariano, leila, ruben, inocencio, adolfo, leila pool activities: angelo coco beach bar: manuel to the wonderful staff of paradisus la perla, many many thanks for making our stay such a great experience! we can't wait to come back!

    Details Matter for a Five Star

    October 29 to November 5, 2019 Room at La Perla needs attention in terms of repair: chipped glass, carpet under bed needs cleaning, furniture in general looking out of place and not suited for the layout of the room. Mount the tv on the wall. Technology available to use the tv to book a la cartes. Very clean rooms and maid was very efficient. No complaints with the lady and her doing her job. Which she did very well. Morning Buffet: Eva was our server and what an asset to the team. Her pleasant and respectful manner was very appreciated and knowing we would see her at the start of each day was more than welcomed by us. A wonderful kind, friendly, efficient worker. When there, ask for her section. Pool service: Juaquin, what a terrific efficient and friendly gentlemen. A pleasure to meet and see everyday by the pool. He is most kind and respectful and there to please. Now, a five star resort and there was a five dollar U.S.charge for Room Service (for every call)!? Never have we been subjected to a charge for room service at a five star resort and we have stayed in many. Nor have we paid a charge in a four or a four and a half resort. This is outrageous. Entertainment: None to speak of and what there was? No sharing of activities or entertainment options were present. You never knew if there was a show, or any other amusement. Poorly transmitted to the guests if there were entertainment offerings. Dining: excellent; service staff excellent, professional. Be alerted: once you are checked in the individual behind you is there to bring up the topic of time share options. Of course they do not call it that. Regardless, your time if you allow, can be taken up with the sell. Comment: Tipping, please do! Show some class. Also, remove that baseball cap and exercise those manners you were taught. Would we go back, not to soon.
