Hadar - breakfast buffet in Paradisus
Paradisus offers an amazing selection of restaurants, Hadar was my families favorite place to have breakfast. The food is delicious and has an excellent variety. The staff was friendly and attentive. Sergio May, Sara de la Cruz and Joe provided us with excellent service. They were our go to servers.
Had amwonderful time
I visited the La Perla side of the resort in August and had a wonderful time. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was (I've had bad food experiences at all-inclusives before). The staff was extremely attentive and did everything to make sure our needs were met. Many people recommend upgrading for the Royal Service, my boyfriend and I did not and were still very well taken care of by all of the staff. The rooms were clean and you can tell the staff goes above and beyond to keep the grounds in tip top shape. I would definitely go back and maybe spring for a room with a swim-up pool next time! Those were super cool. I must add that yes, there is a problem with the sargassum seaweed, but that's totally out of the hotel's control. They have staff working nonstop to clean it up, and honestly, it's a problem affecting a large part of the Caribbean (look it up). On some days the seaweed was very minimal, and on other days there was a lot...probably has to do with the current/wind. But if you go out a little further (on a boat perhaps) the water is beautiful and blue.
Relaxing & Fun Girls Getaway! PROS: All food whether buffet or specialty/a la carte. Cleanliness of rooms & common areas. Friendliness & competence of staff. Drinks served with a smile. Rooms turned down every evening. Water aerobics. Excursions offered by Best Day. No mosquitos. Beautiful flora & fauna everywhere! CONS: Seaweed on the beach (no fault of Paradisus’). Extremely strong floral/spice pumped-in scent in the lobby. Smoking at pool and people not using designated ashtrays. SPECIAL MENTION: ANGELO (water aerobics & Lion King performer). MATEO (mixologist for our tequila tasting). EVA (Hadar breakfast). EDUARDO (Bana restaurant)! Can’t wait to go back to Paradise at Paradisus!
A very good choice
We chose this resort for our summer trip this year mostly because of a Costco special. We went with the master swim up suite and it was perfect. It was definitely worth it to get the swim up and the royal service was great as well. The royal service pool concierge Daniel was very attentive. Our butler, Alejandro, was helpful and kept us organized. The room and resort in general was always very clean. I wish that there had been at least one pool that stayed open late. The food was good, not great but enjoyable. We enjoyed the hibachi dinner the most. Before arriving, I had read many reviews that commented on the state of the beach. All the seaweed really does suck but the beach was still useable. And they work hard to remove the majority of it. We were also able to ride jet skis without having to leave the property. If the beach was better, I would come here again and again. All other aspects of our stay though were top notch.
Family of adults at paradisius la perla
My husband and I along with our two adult daughters originally booked at a resort in the Dominican but with the spat of recent deaths decided to change our destination. It would have been difficult to find a better place to go than the la perla. Beautiful room excellent food and an overall amazing experience. My one adult daughter is allergic to peanuts and they handled this extremely well. From our arrival to departure. After the first day my daughter would just say her room number and they would say oh you have a peanut allergy. There was never a problem. If there is one negative thing I have to say it is that they need to keep the restaurants on the adults only on the la perla side. They should not become family in the evenings.
