Staying at Paradisus La Perla was an amazing experience. My husband and I went for our honeymoon. It was our first time going to Playa Del Carmen, and Cancun, and I don't think we could've picked a better place to stay for our visit. As soon as we got there we were greeted with a warm welcome, and cocktails (of course) the staff were really nice, the restaurants that we had available were also amazing. The staff were very kind to show us what the resort had to offer. Our room was in the royal suite, we had our own private jacuzzi in our balcony, room cleaning would come twice a day, morning, and evening. Our bellboy however, Christian, was very kind to us. We was always there if we needed anything, or if we had any questions. He was actually one of the staff members who greeted us with a warm welcome. He took us to our room in a golf cart, just because our room was a little too far from the main lobby, he showed us our room, the pools, the bars, and which restaurant to eat for our first night. I can honestly say we had an amazing experience, and we both would not mind going back to this same resort.
No beach, unless you like massive amounts of composting seaweed
This is a great property as far as facilities, food, cleanliness, and if you prefer pool over beach. Their beach had MASSIVE amounts of seaweed (daily crews of 10+ people plus digger equipment clean it daily, but to no avail). You can’t even get in the water. Not to mention the stench from rotting seaweed. So basically, hotel is great, they’re trying to clean it, but I can’t see how they can win the war on seaweed - so if you want beach, choose another property.

amazing! spectacular! the best!
Paradisus La Perla is Adjoined to the La Esmeralda- which is the kid friendly hotel. This definitely was a perk for us. We had our wedding at Paradisus in April and it was awesome! The hotel is clean, absolutely beautiful and everyone is kind and best of all, all inclusive. The rooms are all equipped with giant jacuzzis. The staff is friendly and efficient. Kudos to our coordinator, Jaime who helped us put our wedding together perfectly! The hotel was very accommodating to all the changes that we had daily with our guest count at the restaurants and made sure everything was stress free. We had the royal suite with the swim out private pool and it was well worth it. It was truly paradise! We all keep reminiscing about a reunion and cannot wait to go back!
This was our first all inclusive resort. We can’t imagine a better choice. We were overwhelmed just entering the lobby on the first night. The staff were absolutely wonderful, attentive and friendly. There seemed to be a lot of workers on hand at all times. We had the one bedroom master suite, huge!! With a jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking the pool, so much space! We loved La Palapa and The Grill. Hector was our server at the grill and he was so wonderful that we requested his section when we returned. Breakfast at Hadar was a buffet of high standard and again we requested the section of Edgar and Diego. They were so attentive that by the end of the week they knew exactly what we wanted in the way of coffee tea hot water and OJ without having to ask us. The food was exceptional everywhere went and the drinks were not watered down. The quality of the wine included was very nice indeed. Hope to return ASAP!
