Great family vacation in Punta Cana. The staff was exceptional. Our daughter loved the kids club. Tons of activities to choose from. Great drinks and restaurants. Our family concierge Raul was super helpful with everything. Highly recommend visiting this great resort.

Jan 24, 2025Not Worth The Money
I had a very disappointing experience at this resort during my recent trip to Punta Cana. Check-in was very lovely and everyone made you feel like you were really special but then once you turn down signing up to be a Circle Member, the service changes. Not from the bar staff but more so from all other staff that run the resort. Issues included and were not limited to; * Unable to make dinner reservations despite the restaurants being mostly empty at night * Needed to constantly call for restock of the in-room fridge * Food at the buffet was cold and repetitive. It seemed that whatever we ate at lunch was just left there for dinner. Terrible. * Service once we did manage to get a couple dinner reservations was terrible. You would place your order and servers would conveniently forget portions of your order. Food was cold. Service was very slow. But the icing on the cake for us was when we were told that a very large group had booked the whole resort and were beginning to arrive Tuesday evening. We were checking out on Thursday. We didn't have a problem with a large group but what we did have a problem with was how this group overran the resort as they were arriving. There was no regard whatsoever for the other guests at the resort. Restaurants were closed. The buffet was literally closed and we were moved to an area outside on the grass. This is not what I paid for. This was a terrible way to treat guests that paid a good amount of money to visit this resort. We ended up ordering room service for the last couple of days we were there. It would have been nice to know prior to booking that a very large group was expected on such and such dates. It would have made a difference on where I chose to stay for my week. Very disappointed.

Even better when you get family concierge!
We continue to come back to the Paradisus year after year for our family vacation. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. The amenities are terrific— from the water park, to the pools and beaches. This year, we upgraded to the family concierge and it was a world of difference! Our personal concierge, Carolina and Patry, were amazing! Atrentive, efficient, friendly, and willing to go above an beyond for whatever we needed…including all our dinner reservations and even setting up the jacuzzi with bubbles and balloons for our daughters birthday. Will definitely be doing the concierge again and specifically requesting Carolina and Patry!

Gabriel Batss, the best concierge
We are very pleased to have had the pleasure of Gabriel Batss as our concierge. Throughout our stay he went above and beyond, being relentlessly affable, amiable and amenable, always attentive and would regularly check we were having a good time from morning to night, but deftly without any intrusion or imposition. Gabriel was also a great help and comfort when we experienced issues with some other hotel guests, and during this time he provided empathy, sympathy and advice in helping us to resolve this and not let it impede our time at the resort. It’s almost always hard returning home from a vacation but having had the pleasure of Gabriel’s company made it that little bit harder as we will miss him very much. We can’t thank him enough.

Beautiful resort, but we went in January and was not told that a huge group of Kosher had taken over the resort. Should have been told or offered to go to a different resort. The children didn't care about other people and the parents gave a ..... too. But all in all, nice, friendly staff, we had consierge, did everything for you. We will not recommend for couples, it's for families.
