Hotel is amazing and the staff very attentive and welcoming! Julio at the front desk is wonderful and Ines is a very good sales agent! She just wont take no for an answer! Monica did a great job of asking for comments and feedback. We enjoyed our visit very much and we will be back!
Fall Getaway Deal
Nightly Shows were great and Chef Rafael at Sakura was the Best!! So much fun to be entertained at their Japanese Steakhouse. I loved these two items plus the food was good and many varieties. Although all inclusive, I could not get anyone to put alcohol in my drinks but one waiter at the Pez Vela. I heard others complain that they paid a lot to stay here and wanted alcohol in their drinks. I would not go back to this resort. Not a 5 star. Rooms were nice but the musty moldy smell was present. I guess they don't run dehumidifiers in Mexico. Same at every hotel I have ever stayed at. I did not like the location of this resort. Many vacant pieces of property nearby and the road into the resort was scary. Not impressive.
We had an amazing time here! This was our 2nd time visiting this resort and they definitely didn’t disappoint us!! We booked a rooftop master suite for ourselves and regular master suites for our kids! These are privileged rooms and come with butler service! (Which we didn’t realize until we checked in) our Butler Alonso was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted or needed! He made reservations for us at different restaurants for every night that we were there! He decorated my oldest daughters room with rose petals after her boyfriend proposed to her on the beach! He even decorated our friends room for her birthday! He informed us of the daily activities around the resort as well!! The view from these rooms are absolutely amazing and definitely worth the little extra cost!! I will definitely be returning to this resort!!
This was a great getaway resort
From the airport the resort took about 45 minutes to reach. The property was great in my opinion. Check-in took a bit of time and I ended up paying extra because they said I didn’t indicate that 2 people were coming but whatever. At the end you get approached by a timeshare representative so beware of that. But you can just say no or go to the presentation and get your free gift ( but be aware it will consume at least 2-3 hours of your time). Although the timeshare portion was a little annoying, time consuming, and I felt pressured. But other than that the facilities were amazing I stayed in a privilege suite and I felt like it was worth it. We really only swam at the beach and the privilege pool the others seemed to have a bunch of kids in them. I loved our room it was spacious the bed was big and comfortable I also loved our Jacuzzi pool inside the bathroom and on the balcony we used that and the swim up pool. Our butler Oscar was pretty cool as well he was very busy but when I saw him he always stopped what he was doing to make sure we were okay. As far as the restaurant goes we only ate at the privilege restaurant, pez Vela, and the buffet. I could tell the portion sizes were small and fancy to fit the American ideal of fine dining. But we were hungry and like options so we ended up at the buffet pretty much every day that we were there. I also like the Buffy had themed nights every night like Greek and Brazilian. It was all delicious in my opinion I didn’t hear good things about the Italian restaurant so I wasn’t interested in going. Btw everybody was genuinely nice to us and enjoyable to talk to regardless if we tipped or not. So I’m not sure what another reviewer was talking about but that wasn’t my experience, just be mindful that you get what you give. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this resort and would definitely consider going back.
Ocean Riviera Paradise in the Rivera Maya
I do not recored mend this resort for the beach. If you were to walk down the beach a little it is less rocky beacuse they have sand bags. I like that they asked if you had allergies for people that my have them. I have never bean to resort that have asked that. The man named Hughel he is time share person so if you do not want a time share say no thank you and move on.This is a big resort but it is easy to find your away around the resort. It has good activities for kids and people in general. For kids they have activies around kids pool and one night I saw they had pinata for kids. For other activities they have bowling it dose get busy but I did get to do the bowling.Other activities is batting cages . These are activities are one's I have never seen at other resort witch I like. The food is verey good. The more option then I have seen at other reosrt like english muffins, Potaro wegdes and apples. Again l like that had those food I have not seen at other resort. The resort has good shows to. The people that work at this resort are verey good. Like the women working at the batting cage was good and was good as was man that meant working as part of the entertainment team name dainel aka Danny I meant on my seacond last day full day there.I really like the fome party. They also have ice cream store you can go to for free and coffie shope called Mike's cafe. My favorite person working at this resort is Angie she is part of the entertainment team. If you see her tell her Matthew from Toronto said hi.
