We had an excellent 5 nights, the room was clean and serviced daily. The pool was in a lovely setting with lots of umbrellas and trees for extra shade, the bar offered snacks during the day and full menu at night On arrival we were offered a introduction get together on the first morning with coffee and snacks,we had a complete run down from Michelle about the activities on offer in Maui which we found very helpful.
Great location and very clean
I am so glad that we booked this hotel. It is within walking distance from the restaurants and the beach! From the minute we arrived, pretty late at night, the staff was so welcoming. I wish I remembered the lady’s name ... I believe it starts with J...smiling all the time and giving us the right direction to our room, even if we were so exhausted. It was September 16th, so just to give her a shout out if she read and knows that she worked that night! When I asked if we can get a room with a nice view, she mentioned that we got an upgrade for being a VIP on Expedia and will have the 6th floor and a suite. The room was so clean, we got a king bend and on the table we had a handwritten welcoming letter on my name with a bag of cookies. How great was that considering that we were also hungry from the flight and too tired to get some food! The whole resort grounds were beautiful and clean, the hotel is so close to everything and so glad we chose Kihei , because from there you are pretty close to everything. I would stay there again. The only reason I gave this resort 4 stars is that it did not have the option to see the ocean , only partially, due to its position...vertical on the road . Also , even if we got all the toiletries every day , we never got a shower gel, just a solid soap that was replaced only after one week . Other than that , everything was perfect, the best bed and the most quiet hotel I have ever stayed at. In our last day , we had to check out at 11 o’clock and our plane was only at night, the staff ( I believe Edwin was his name ) was so happy to keep our luggage at the reception till later, also telling us that we can still use the pool, all the amenities around and also get a towel if we need it for the pool. Hi 5 to everyone working there , you guys were great and made our stay excellent!
Very nice - we liked it.
Very nice hotel, great convenient location. We were only in Maui for 3 nights, and we chose this hotel in Kihei due to location. It is more convenient to the airport and a few other places that we wanted to go to. The hotel is very relaxing. My family loved the free bikes. My two sons loved that they can walk to the stores to pick up food - very convenient location. The pool was nice - a little small. The beach is right across the street. Our standard room was nice and spacious enough for a family of four. Beds were comfy. They have a huge gym. The only negative is that the gym is really humid! The hotel should put in a dehumidifier up there or turn on the air. Working out in there is unbearable due to the stickiness. I also like how the hotel is more simple and not overly crowded or super busy like some of the Kaanapali or Wailea hotels that we have stayed in, in the past. We would totally stay at the Maui Coast Hotel again!
We were in Maui for for days my daughter and I
Employees were nice and polite. The hotel was very clean and well situated close to the beach 5 minutes walk and 10 minutes by car to center town I recommend that hotel and it is on my list to go back . its a real 3 stars . Claude Tremblay
Love it here!
I love this place. It’s reasonably priced and they have a wonderful vibe there; well Maui has a wonderful vibe everywhere but they have music at night and the locals visit the restaurant there. Good stories about the island and where to go. Stayed here twice so I like it.
