9 Doors Japanese restaurant is located on the ground floor of the lobby and is divided into the sushi bar and Teppanyaki area. In the Sushi Bar you will find an excellent and elaborate selection of sushi and 8 Teppanyakis, with capacity for 10 people and six sittings per day, you can have a real experience of show cooking whilst enjoying Japanese cuisine.

We had a group of 11 women with only 2 being prior vacationers there. Everyone Obe did from start to finish was perfect! He made our stay seemless from arrival to departure. Loved the resort and each and every staff member was incredibly nice and polite. The one and only small complaint would be the staff member at the pickleball courts-he was NOT friendly and seemed to talk under his breath when asked any questions. The value for our money was fantastic-I’d have loved a more upscale bourban for drinks but that’s neither here nor there. Loved the food -plenty of it! Our room was very nice as well-bed was super comfortable and so was the cot they used in the living room area.

Fantastic resort!!
Majestic Elegance is a great destination. Resort was fantastic. Food was great, with lots of choices, food was well prepared and service was fabulous. Beach and pools were great, with lots of loungers and cabanas. Didn’t have to wake up at 7 am to grab loungers or cabanas. There was always loungers available. Staff were very gracious and helpful. We had a butler assigned to us. Richard was very helpful and attended to all our questions and requests. He ensured that our family had the best experience.

Treated like Rock Royalty at the Majestic Elegance
This resort is absolutely gorgeous. And it’s huge! We were traveling with a very large group of family and friends ( maybe like 40-50 people?) and everything from dining reservations to our activities and accommodations were handled seemlessly. We had a butler, Erikson, who we loved!! He checked in on us daily and provided a list of events for us that we might take an interest in. He really helped to make sure we had everything we needed! The entire resort is just run like a well oiled machine. Everywhere we went all the staff we encountered, from landscapers to pool cleaners, kitchen help, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. They all seem to really enjoy what they do, and everyone greets you with a big smile and a Good Morning or Buenos Dias!! We fell in love with our housekeeper who helped me with my very limited Spanish and even though I had trouble pronouncing her name, she was an absolute sweetheart! The entertainment crew Tutti Fruity and miss Peppa made sure to get everyone involved in having a good time! When we sat by the pools, Walliam looked after us with fresh towels and lots of laughs! There was even a day when our entire group of friends were treated to a private bbq right on the beach!! It was the first time I tried Caribbean lobster. Coming from New England, we are pretty biased on good lobster, but to my surprise I LOVED it!! Definitely can’t wait to visit again, and when we do, hope to see again Erikson and all the amazing friends we made at the Majestic !!

Best in Punta Cana
We had a wonderful stay at the Majestic Elegance (adults only). The grounds are absolutely beautiful—lush, well-maintained, and spread out in a way that feels peaceful and luxurious. The beach is stunning, with soft sand and clear water, and the several lagoon-style pools throughout the property made it easy to relax without ever feeling crowded. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. From check-in to daily interactions around the resort, their warmth and professionalism made a lasting impression. Shout out to our butler Katherine R who is truly amazing. She made our dinner reservations, and got us a taxi when we were checking out. She checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything . Roberto in the lobby bar is friendly, welcoming and makes a great Cosmopolitan. Juan Pablo assisted us at the lunch buffet and again at the Gourmand Restaurant. He had a table ready for us and provided excellent service. This is the kind of place where you feel truly taken care of, and we would absolutely return.

Excellent Trip
Melvin set the tone for a wonderful vacation. He met us at check in and escorted us to our room while giving a tour along the way. I think we saw him every day and he was keeping us updated about activities. He was top notch!
