9 Doors Japanese restaurant is located on the ground floor of the lobby and is divided into the sushi bar and Teppanyaki area. In the Sushi Bar you will find an excellent and elaborate selection of sushi and 8 Teppanyakis, with capacity for 10 people and six sittings per day, you can have a real experience of show cooking whilst enjoying Japanese cuisine.
Table Reservation are required for teppanyaki. No reservation required for the Sushi Bar.

In a typically Italian atmosphere, the restaurant Il Botaccio offers a dinner service with the best and most representative dishes of Italian cuisine. In addition, during the morning and midday, Il Botaccio opens its doors to Elegance Club customers to serve breakfast and for an a la carte lunch. Restaurant will remain open for breakfast and lunch, exclusively for guests staying at the Elegance Club (Adults only 18+ section).

Place was excellent Service was excellent Food was excellent Beach was excellent Room was excellent Check-in and Check-out was very easy The only remark are the shows and the music. It is very, very, very loud! It is annoying that it is overlapping all over the place, even on the beach. There is no silent place to find. Please set up the sound system. It is most of the oversteering.

Just perfect. The best all inclusive resort we have been in Punta Cana. Food is great, the whole site is fantastic with 3 linking Majestic resorts to walk on by night. Luis Miguel and his teammates was fantastic at the beach service. Will surely come back.

Majestic Elegance Resort was nice- do NOT book excursions here.
The resort was very nice and the food/service was good! Drinks are weak which is expected at All Inclusive resorts. Do NOT book excursions through the booth that's on the beach OR inside the hotel. The excursions are NOT as pictured. Example: ATV rides, you only go on the ATV for a very short period, otherwise they bring you to run-down areas in DR with locals forcing you to buy things/spend money. They also did this with the speed boat excursion. Both excursions, they bring you to run-down beaches with trash in the water and shady people around. DO NOT BOOK EXCURSIONS! Parasailing was the only one that was okay.

Excellent hotel, let down by the food
We spent 14 nights at the Majestic Elegance in the club (adults only) section. Our room, 4236, was ideally located near the beach next to the Sunrise cafe. Although it was a garden view room, we had a partial sea view from our balcony. It is a long walk to the reception and many of the restaurants from this room, but is close to the See and Sea seafood restaurant. The adults only concept is a great idea with it's own pool areas, beach area and beach cafes. You also get your own butler, although I don't think they were really necessary as many of the tasks they carried out you could do for yourself. Having said that, our butler, Peter, was excellent. He found us every day to see if we had any problems. Any problems or questions we had he promptly resolved and answered. He also got us restaurant reservations. Onto the pros and cons for the hotel. Pros: Immaculately manicured gardens Spacious open plan bedrooms The key card wristband is a good idea as it ensures that you don't get locked out of your room (although it does cost $90 to replace if you lose it) Cabanas on beach for use of club members only Club members only pool and bars Adults only cafe lounge (Sunrise cafe) near the beach Room gifts - baseball caps and beach bag Good evening entertainment Cons: Bedroom decor in need of an upgrade Non club members with children using the club beach and sunbeds Cabanas being reserved with beach towels and then not used at all Quality and choice of food in some restaurants (the menu options weren't extensive) Food left out in the open for extensive periods in cafes Quality of drinks Sunbeds too close together The adults only beach area is too small so feels cramped Beaches are very crowded As I have said, the quality of the food wasn't great but the a la carte restaurants (which you need to book in advance) were very good. Here's how I would rank the restaurants: 1. Limited Gourmand 2. 9 Doors 3. See and Sea 4. Il Botaccio 5. Asadito Steak House 6. Flavors buffet Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Elegance and would recommend it if you are looking for a hotel in Punta Cana. But for a more relaxing, less crowded holiday with a more authentic feel it may be worth exploring other resorts outside of Punta Cana.

BEST HOTEL IN PUNTA CANA!
You can't go to another hotel in the DR Punta Cana and get the service, hospitality and amazing accommodations than the Majestic Elegance. We go with a group of 12-14 for the past 12 years and the Majestic NEVER disappoints. The professional leadership team from Jose Marie, Marta and staff Muri, Angelina, and of course our butler Ericson make the Majestic one of a kind. Over the years we have seen them pay attention to all the little details, enhance their accommodations and always looking to improve an already well run and beautiful resort. What i appreciate is that they dont settle for being great...they are always looking to be even better! We could go anywhere (and we have) and it never compares to the Majestic in Punta Cana. Thank you Marta, Jose Marie, Muri, Angelina and Ericson and to all those at the Majestic Elegance who make our vacation so special every year. Our group has gone for 12 years but we have gone 14...and next year will make 15 years. We can't wait!!! FOOD- excellent, big selection, different nightly BEACH- Amazing, always enough chairs, beach clean, beach vendors respectful ROOM- beautiful suite, spacious, clean. Only suggestion is that they could have more hooks outside the bathroom/shower area. POOLS- Refreshing, clean, and several, again usually not hard to find chairs ENTERTAINMENT- Variety- some better than others but good overall. CASINO- very small, 14 years and no-one ever really wins. There are at least 1 or 2 dealers that make it fun, the rest not so much. STAFF- the best i have encountered TIPS-bring your own yeti, buy a towel band for the beach chair, and i know it is an all inclusive but TIP the staff! They treat you extremely well whether they are tipped or not but they work hard and if you can you should.
