Feb 09, 2026Great time! Dancing, drinking, eating. Want to go back
Had a great time here for the week. Little breezy and some rain but made the best of it when it did rain. In the short periods of rain we were at the swim up bar and Leandro was great. And always was able to find something for us to try and drink. We had a group of 12, sometimes we made reservations due to the size sometimes we didn't and the staff made it work as best they could and we were just fine. The portion sizes were a little small at times but had no issues asking for double or something when ordering an appetizer or what it may have been. Our butler Agapito was great also. Very attentive when we had questions of how to do something or where to go or times of events. He made it a very special time and saw to it that we had no issues and seemed to care if we were having a good time or not. We booked an excursion to a private island and the crew on the way to island was great with a bar and snacks, and the crew on speed boat way back played great music and got us all dancing and smiling.

Great place for vacation!
Just returned from 7 days at Magestic Colonial in Punta Cana. Our Butler, Darel, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay and made sure to connect with us daily. He definitely made the trip stress free! All staff here is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed water aerobics daily. The pool is amazing and huge! Always somewhere to grab a chair next to pool OR on the beach. Plenty of places to eat and plenty of bars. Definitely recommend the dirty monkey from the pool bar and an espresso martini from the piano bar at the top of the staircase. We had fun expiring and relaxing. We had a jr suite and everything was functional and clean. Housekeeping was great and the mini bar was stocked daily! It was a fun place to stay.

Wonderful people and beautiful surroundings make for a memorable vacation.
This is our second stay at Majestic Colonial. From the beautiful, well-kept grounds, to the delicious and plentiful food, to the turquoise water, the accommodations and stay were amazing. And, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff just made our stay even better: Luis our butler, Domingo our bartender, Fernando & his partner at the beach bar, and everyone working in the buffets, housekeeping, and restaurants. The people are one of the main reasons we come back - our familia.

Great stay, amazing service, and a beach we already miss
The Majestic Colonial was lovely! We miss it already. The resort facilities were clean and organized, the rooms were very well maintained and spacious, and the beach front was the best of all the ones we walked on that area of the coast line. We spent most of the days by the pool or on the beach, which was perfect for us. The drinks were great and with quick service every time. The food at the resort was above average for an all-inclusive, but definitely not top tier cuisine which I would never expect at an all-inclusive. That said - the Teppanyaki was so fun, the short rib at the French restaurant was the best short rib I’ve had in years, and I am still thinking about the banana cake at the seafood restaurant! We stayed on the club side which was definitely worth it for the private beach area, private pool, not having to carry towel cards, and our butler, Darel! Darel was so helpful and kind, reaching out to check on us regularly, booking spa appointments and dinner reservations, and even helping with a medical need while staying on the property. Highly recommend the Majestic Colonial, and will be super excited to return to see what the upcoming renovations will change about the already great resort!
