Honeymoon at the Lopesan
We went for our honeymoon and had an amazing time! Isaury our butler was great from the start of the trip until check out. The food was great and we enjoyed everything! The resort is 30 minutes from the airport which was really nice and we booked a unique swim out room which really made the stay extra special.

Amazing Vacation. The bad reviews make zero sense!
Just returned from 7 nights at his resort in the adults only section. I can’t understand the 4* reviews and lower. This place was amazing. The rooms are just as in the pictures. We had a garden view and didn’t mind it one bit. The resort adult only section does include families at times although we never heard anything from any of the rooms except for outside on the balcony. The room was cleaned everyday and we had no issue with having towels, washcloths and plenty of bottled water in the room. The rooms are musty but that is expected at any tropical destination. The adults only pool was the best. Domingo was the bartender for most of our stay and him and the waitress were on top of everything and always made sure everyone was taken care of. The Boulevard was stunning and most of the time we could walk through it without seeing anyone. It took only 7 minutes to walk to the water park from the adults only pool. Not sure why people think the resort is o big! It was the perfect size and beautiful to walk around. Yolo was a great spot for lunch (must try the blooming onion and the Philly steak sandwich) and we enjoyed Iceburg everyday for ice cream. Shout out to Dorianra el Oleo at Yolo who was the best staff member we encountered at the resort and Angel at Iceburg! The Steakhouse was our only disappointment. The steak was better at the Mexican restaurant which we found to be amazing! The pizza at the Italian restaurant was great as well. Breakfast was made to order at The Valley or the buffet with a bunch of choices. Food could have been hotter here but everything was tasty. We arrived on a Sunday night and were able to get reservations for all 7 nights on the app upon arrival. The main pool is extremely large but unless you go in the morning, it is hard to find a chair. We didn’t spend anytime here anyway as the adults only pool was better for us. We didn’t spend anytime go to the foam party on Friday at the main pool which was fun! The beach is fine. The boats do not smell up the area and there are plenty of chairs. We enjoyed walking long stretches on the beach. We will definitely be back to Lopesan and it will be our go to resort when travelling to Punta Cana. You won’t regret booking here!

Recommend for Luxurious, Relaxing Getaway
We were Unique Club and enjoyed our experience as young adults celebrating two girls’ 30th birthdays. Our butler, Wendy Guerrero was amazing, checking in with, helping decorate the rooms for the birthdays, and making reservations at restaurants. The resort was very nice: immaculate grounds and a clean, safe, beautiful beach. 10/10 relaxing vibes. 8/10 nightlife. 8/10 food for an all-inclusive. This is probably the best, or one of the best, resorts in all of Punta Cana.

A perfect getaway from the cold!
It's been a while since my wife and I have been to an all inclusive. We forgot how much we were missing. The hotel was fabolous for sure but the kicker was getting the "unique" side of the resort. The extra ameneties such as extra room service in the evenings, beachside buffet and restaurant, towels at your disposal for the beach in your room and last but not least, the concierge experience! Senel Delusmat, was our key to success! Helping book restaurants, to spa days and everything and anything you could want to do on the resort! A quick sit down at breakfast or lunch to book a bunch or events or a la carte dinner's is all you need. He can arrange your schedule to make things fit as they should. I honestly will not be able to go somewhere without having someone take care of my family and myself this way! It's been life changing. The presidential treatment without breaking the bank! We will be back again without a doubt!

A Great Resort for a Great Vacation!
Lopesan is a great resort, and I have been very happy with it. It is a huge property meaning a lot of walking. Folks with mobility concerns might want to think twice before booking here. It is accessible, but at the same time is a sprawling complex. You'll definitely get your steps in! Here are the pros and cons from my perspective. GROUNDS: - The resort is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, and gardens everywhere. There are always lots of staff buzzing around, keeping things clean. FOOD: The al a carte restaurants were all surprisingly good. The Italian place, Asian and the Mediterranean place all get top marks. The Mexican place was also good, but we were disappointed with the slow service, at least the night we were there. The Steakhouse was alright, but expect thin cuts of meat that will probably be overcooked (consider ordering rare to get medium for example). Yolo was a great place for a quick lunch, as was The Valley which offered American pub fare. The buffets were mediocre, and basically the same food every day, much of which was cold. Good pizza and pasta however - that was my buffet go-to, and the breakfast omelette station was great! I was surprised there was no beach BBQ place to get a quick lunch. It would also be nice to have a 'Grab and Go' snack place for when you just want something quick to eat or drink without having to venture into a restaruant. Perhaps a couple of easy additions to improve the place if anyone from Lopesan is reading this. BARS: The bars were good. We always went to the Lobby Bar for 'Happy Hour', and the drinks were all spot on, however it gets really busy after about 5:30pm. The English Pub and Sports Bar were good choices too, and not that busy until later in the evening. Although I was a little bit disappointed in the English Pub - they had a choice of 4 beers but they were all generic lagers (although Henekein was available). To be an English Pub, shouldn't there be some classic English styles on tap? ROOMS: The rooms were great. Vary spacious and modern with a private balcony area with chairs, table, drying rack and outdoor sofa. I found the bed to be very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked vary well. As mentioned in many reviews, the placement of the bathroom is kind of out in the open which was sort of strange, but I didn't mind it. A wonderful, big shower with rainshower head as well as a wand nozzle. The minibar fridge wasn't very cold, but it was good enough, and stocked every day with water, soft drinks and beer. The room was cleaned every day, but it was strange that there were no 'Do Not Disturb' sign in the rooms. Nothing more awkward than being in the washroom/shower/napping when housekeeping staff just walk in. A very simple way to fix this Lopsan is to have 'Do Not Disturb' signs in the rooms! POOLS: Not much to say other than the pools are great, especially the main infinity pool on the property which was huge. The only downside was to get a lounger, you really needed to claim a spot early in the morning. A nice addition for improvement would be a swimup bar, however servers were frequenlty walking around the pool taking drink orders. BEACH: The beach was large and beautiful with white sand and lots of loungers/palapas. As long as you got there by 10-11am you didn't have to play the 'towel game' at claiming chairs. There is a roped off area for swimming, so not great if you like to swim in the ocean, but great for lazy people like me that just like to wade in and wade out to cool off. As mentioned frequently, there are many boats anchored here which is kind of off puting, but it wasn't the worst thing in the world either. I didn't notice diesel smells as some have complained about. One improvement would be to have more servers walking the beach taking drink orders. STAFF: I found the staff to be generally great. They were hospitable and helpful. There was often a language barrier and certain requests got lost in translation, but they tried and I realize I should probably try to learn at least some basic Spanish myself. CONCLUSION: Anyway, overall a great resort and a great vacation. I would definitely go back. A few improvements would be to up their game on the buffet, start a 'Grab and Go' snack place, have 'Do Not Disturb' signs, and to have some English beers at the English pub, but nothing overly serious. 4/5.
