Oct 29, 2025WILL NOT RETURN
I thought it was going to be a good experience overall, sure it had its little trash in the halls here & there & the occasional carpet tear in the halls, but it was a PRIME location with water taxi to the park which was nice. On the day of checkout WHICH WAS 11:00 I had staff enter room with 1 knock & enter @ 8:30. Then an entry with no knock at 9:30, the 10 minutes later a knock on the door. So me & wife said I guess they want us gone. Went to service desk & lady expressed her disappointment & continued to get her manager. After 15 minutes of waiting she comes back with a free breakfast coupon. Manager didn’t even care enough to come out. Needless to say, I told them to keep their breakfast & that I would not be returning.

Oct 26, 2025Second visit, better than the first
This was our second visit to Sapphire Falls and it was even better than our first visit. The hotel is amazing to look at. The staff are excellent! From Leo who checked us in on our first day who was friendly, knowledgeable and completely engaged and made the process so swift and easy. To the amazing bar staff at the Strong Water Tavern, who made our few visits there so memorable, with great food, drinks and conversation. The room was on the 8th floor and gave us an awesome view of the pool. It was clean and tidy and there was only one day that house keeping missed turning the room, which the front desk rectified straight away. Our room was situated next to house keeping and could be a little noisy in the morning as they prepared to turn the rooms, but otherwise it was clean and very comfortable. The pool was amazing! Plenty of places to chill and catch some sun with great attentive servers and bar staff. The other amenities are also excellent. The Universal Store where they were kind enough to change all our some change in to notes, to the New Dutch Trading Co. The Amatista Cookhouse is one of the best places for breakfast. The omelette are the best. Also we had an evening meal there it was great and made even better by the servers. My only gripe, as on our last visit was the water taxi’s. We found once again that on busy night such as Halloween Horror Nights, that the boat were packed with guest from other hotels. I do think that there should be a priority loading for Sapphire Fall guest. But that is the only slight negative from what was an amazing experience. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Oct 19, 2025Underwhelming, irritating, fleeced, I wish I dint visit and used my hard earned money for something else.
If I could give it a one I would - upside is the a front staff that was kind and room cleaning service. The level of customer service in the US now is so poor, its about fleecing you for your money -I wish I could have just returned home as soon as I had my first encounter with Loews Sapphire falls hotel. We arrived late and had to wait in line for 45mins just to check in. I was given just one key by the desk agent and placed in a room in their basement, with the view of what I think is a storage facility - mind you, it cost upwards of $1000 dollars a night for the "hospitality suite". My family were here to celebrate my birthday. We did inform them the following morning and the attendant was kind enough to give us three more keys - we were then informed to consider booking a different range of suites "for views next time". Vacationing in the US is just so sad -I have had better experience in the west coast and at same cost. I usually dont leave reviews bt for families out there think long and hard before booking .

Sapphire is the best
We stay at sapphire falls every year not because its the best location and accommodation for the parks but because the staff and hospitality are amazing! Chef carlos Mike e sattina maggie always make it memorable for us in strong water get whatever they recommend it never fails! This year ana At the poolside made our cabana stay magical caitlyn p in vip upgraded us to a pres suite for our anniversary and larry is always the best! This is our home away from home and we consider sapphire staff family! See ya next year Love andrew and ashley- ❤️

Oct 03, 2025Sapphire Falls is well enough.
This is my 2nd time staying at this resort for work and play. The rooms are nice and the location is great for enjoying Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcanoe Bay parks. I especially enjoy taking the river boat to City Walk and strolling the path in the evening. The pools are beautiful and there are many sun bathing chairs, and cabanas. The only down side for me is the food. The restaurant which I've only eaten at once, took for ever to get the mediocre food (that was years ago) and I have not ventured back. Restaurants at City Walk are much better. The lobby coffee shop cannot make a London Fog. Lucky for me this past visit last month, I found a Starbucks just a few minutes walk at Aventura resort lobby! Where I did a mini hotel inspection while there. See that review.
