Jan 23, 2026Great weather, great beach, great resort, service was hit or miss.
Had an awesome time at Live Aqua in Punta Cana. We stayed in the Fuego Suite which was very cool. Our butler Daniel was the best. If you have a chance to have a Butler request Daniel. He helped us when we needed it but also left us alone and was not overbearing. Resort is small but still has plenty to do. Food was great probably one of the best resorts for food we have stayed at. Resort was super clean all around. Rooms were clean lobby was clean, they do a great job at this resort. Location is about 45 minute drive from the airport. We had private transfers so it was not a big deal for us. They do try and sell time shares which we did not partake in but be aware they will try and give you a presentation and offer a gift if you sit through it. Heard it can take up to 4 hours. We also were part of the aqua club which included special areas for breakfast, at the beach, and a private bar for club members. I think it is worth it. The service seemed to be hit or miss. At times we would order our drinks go to the buffet get our food and eat it and still not have drinks. We did find one waiter who was awesome. Salvador was his name. Once we got into his section the service was great. He was awesome had our drinks waiting for us before we sat down. He would also set up our table at breakfast with nice notes written in coffee beans. The sports bar was awesome. We were there for the wildcard round of the NfL playoffs and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff inside the sports bar was great too. Our favorite bartender was Carlos. Overall it was an awesome trip and we would definitely recommend this resort to anyone traveling to Punta Cana

Best Ocean/ Beach and the BEST Food
This was our 5th time to Punta Cana and our 1st time to Live Aqua. This Resort had the absolute BEST food we've ever had in Punta Cana! Every restaurant had amazing chefs, the buffets were great, and the fact that you did not need any reservations made it even better! It really took the hassle away from figuring out what to eat, because sometimes you just don't want to pick reservations days in advance. We will definitely 100% will be back! Our personal team to acknowledge was Alexis, Jeffry, the senorita in the café shop (I didn't get her name), & Rafael at the beach bar. Truly every staff member went above and beyond their job! They really are all great and friendly! I miss it already!

Luxury, Safe, Trustworthy fun time.
My experience was AMAZING at Live Aqua. Each and every staff member I interacted with was very helpful and very kind to me. I felt like a Princess. Nicaury (Nikki) made sure that my excursion experience was perfect. She was was sweet and communicated everything I needed before I left. She followed up when she saw me and was such a joy. Jesus is who I met when I got there and very nice as well. Jeff assisted me so much - I forgot I had my butler, Daniel to help me as well some times. I felt like I was living with family. The rooms were beautiful , food amazing and I felt 100% Safe!
