Best getaway ever!
My fiance and I were there the beginning of August. As soon as we walked in we felt right at home. We were greeted with a wonderful drink and treated like king and queen. There was a great menu to choose from, everyone was super nice and made sure that every need was met going over above-and-beyond. There were times we felt we had the whole Resort to ourselves, very peaceful, quiet and Serene. I really like that the pool bar is only open from 1130 to 6, by 8 or 9 p.m., the resort is very quiet. You can order room service 24/7, the bikes were great to ride to the beach and to the ruins. They surprised everyone with a nice romantic outdoor meal, and there is always something going on every night. I feel we have made some friends along the way with the staff and we are very eager to go back in a few years. This was absolutely Beyond perfect for us! The yoga was really cool and very spiritual. I give this Resort five stars and definitely recommend it to everyone!
a great all inclusive stay
My husband and I went for our honeymoon. As soon as we got to the resort we felt very welcomed not to mention safe. They have a very good system established for who goes in and out of the resort when our cab dropped us off so that was relieving to see. The AC worked perfect. The ambience was very peaceful and everything was clean. the food was great. We really enjoyed the drinks at the Galeria overnight with bartender Sergio Cachmay. He was amazing to us. Sergio was extremely attentive to my husband and I and we felt like we befriended him. He even taught us a word or two in Mayan. We sincerely will never forget him and Alan as well And hope to return and see those friendly faces once more.
Food was awful
The resort itself is in a beautiful location. It is outdated but kept in decent shape. The views are fantastic and the service staff was great. The worst part about this place is the food. It’s almost inedible. For a forced all-inclusive, plan to eat off the resort a lot!
I stayed here 5 days with my s/o we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I docked one star because it’s not the best I’ve been too. We didn’t spend our entire time at the resort we were out exploring Tulum. We spent one full day at the hotel and most of our evenings. Pros: Only all inclusive hotel in Tulum Had different events every night Clean, spacious rooms with jetted tubs Great staff and bartenders Cons: Not a beach front resort Dirty pool Food I had no problems with the staff I only speak English and we seemed to understand each other just fine. The drinks weren’t top shelf but I was able to explain to each bartender how I liked my drinks and they were able to deliver. The food was hit and miss, we ate to fill up & out of convenience but that’s it—we mainly ate in town. The WIFI and AC seemed to work just fine in our room, the price is steep but it did its job. The events each night were a treat and one of the reasons we stayed in, one night we had karaoke, and another night was Mayan dancers—it was a ton of fun! My biggest issue was the pool it was filthy, I mainly went in because of my bf but I refused to spend too much time in there. It’s pretty from afar but once you get close to it, you’ll see what I mean.
Our experience with this hotel was really positive and pleasant, from the check-in to the check-out we never encountered any staff who wasn't helpful and kind! The room was clean, large and pleasant - and no issues with the bathroom (water pressure was not great but sufficient). Housekeeping does a great job and it was always pleasant to go back to our fresh, clean room! The food was very good for an all-inclusive (well-prepared, varied selection and very tasty). No complaints about the wine and drinks. That said, my husband and I ventured off the resort tried other restaurants in Tulum town and the beach strip, since there are top notch spots. The pool was kept very clean, and it's too bad the smaller pool was being repaired while we were there because that would have also been a nice option to have. The seaweed issue was really horrible on the beach strip when we were there (late June), so I really didn't miss having beach access. All and all a really nice stay. Tulum is magical, but staying on the beach strip is really expensive, so Kore is a great option since it's all-inclusive. I would definitely go back and would recommend.
