Owners grandkids terrorizing guests
This is the strangest resort experience I have ever had in Hawaii. The owner of this resort has been throwing parties by the pool for his family, making all of us guests feel like we are imposing despite us paying to be here. A few families with kids are staying here and all are well behaved.......except the owners grandkids, who’s parents seem to have no issue with them yelling a screaming for hours while they play in the pool next to relaxing customers. So incredibly disappointing and disrespectful I can’t believe the ownership of the hotel would allow this.
Dream Vacation Interrupted by Hotel Owners family reunion
Currently staying at the Ko’a Kea hotel as part of a multi island trip to Hawaii. Despite having hundreds of guests spending thousands of dollars on their dream vacations at their hotel, the owner decided to throw a large family reunion which has occupied the pool and bar area for several days....to the annoyance of many guests currently here. The owner is sitting a few seats away and seams completely unaware that most of his guests are wearing headphones just to drown out the noise of his poorly disciplined grandkids. What is normally a quiet couples retreat is now filled with toddlers and loud unsupervised children running around the only pool area screaming. That ownership would have such disregard for paying guests looking for a quiet relaxing getaway is troubling, and I would advise people to avoid this hotel, At least until Remington,s father is able to successfully beg his 4 year old to be quiet and get out of the pool.
Ko'a Kea Resort - Poipu
Recently enjoyed a perfect stay at Ko'a Kea. I previously had dinner at their wonderful restaurant Red Salt but had not stayed at the hotel. I went with my grown daughter for a birthday getaway. We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end and it was truly difficult to leave. Ko'a Kea is in a fantastic location. Our room was lovely. It had an amazing ocean view, even though it was not classified as ocean front. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and caring. One evening one of the people who worked at the hotel told us that turtles had been spotted on a nearby beach and we walked a few minutes to find a large family of turtles resting on the sand. The food was perfect as well. Little touches such as wine in our refrigerator and complimentary flip-flops added to our enjoyment. Absolutely cannot wait to return to this truly wonderful hotel!
My husband and I had the best vacation experience at Ko'a Kea and cannot wait to come back. The staff is exceptional and so helpful. The grounds are beautiful and it's in the perfect location for beach access without the beach crowds you see at other hotels. We had a minor problem with our room after the first night but they went above and beyond to immediately resolve it. Thanks for a great stay, we can't wait to come back!
Most amazing stay!
The ocean front view was absolutely stellar. The rooms were amazing, very clean and stylish. The staff is second to none, with several staff members remembering our names by day two. Overall the stay here was one of the best I have had the privileged to have.
