Good value for a hotel on Kaanapali Beach
The hotel is an excellent 3-star hotel. The location on Kaanapali Beach is perfect. I would book the hotel again. We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel Kaanapali Beach. Highly recommended is a rental car, so you can go to Lahaina in the evening for dinner - many great restaurants
Hawaii circa 1980
This hotel is cheaper than many. Booked through Costco and the pictures were not accurate. Rooms were like 1980 Hawaii decor. Very old used comforter and towels. thank goodness I brought my own blanket! The air conditioner barely worked and it was 90+ degrees outside! Lots of ants and woke up to a bug on my neck. The staff though was very friendly and welcoming. I won’t be back.
The hotel is a bit dated in furniture, but can easily be overlooked because everything else was above what I expected. The grounds are beautiful, staff amazing and helpful and the food delicious! Highly recommend staying here. The prices were quite a bit lower than other hotels in the area and more than comfortable and efficient. If you want more luxury over just comfort, this is.not the place for you.
Ka'anapali Beach Hotel
The staff here is surely excellent. They are super nice and very helpfull. I was quiet dissapointed when we entered the room. Because i watched the images on the site and of course they shwo only the good pictures. This ruined my first day when we arrived there. My expectations were so much higher. Unfortunately i didn't book it myself but a travel agency. (Something i won't do again - at least it is my fault then) The breakfast was more an American Breakfast which i don't want when i go to Hawaii. I hoped for somehting more hawaiian - more healthy. For us the breakfast was included the rest we had to pay when we checked out. And for me the Tiki Bar & Grill had prices that were not sutable for what you got, Plus it is everything in plastic which hurted me so much . But he thing that was great, was the diner in the tiki terrace. They had super yummy hawaiian food to choose and the quality was top. I wouldn't go back there. But in the end i'm not that hotel kind of person, and when, i'd book myself and spend a bit more money for a better quality. Location was top, supermarkets/shops are nearby.
Good Hotel in a Great Location
Hotel is good, a bit dated, needs a refresh, some staff were helpful, grounds were nice with a lot of trees and flowers, pool size was small, location was great, short walk to black rock, Whalers Village, Catamaran beach docking and nice beach in front.
