Star Camp is free and part of the all-inclusive experience at Iberostar and features more than 140 age-based activities based on the approach and theory of multiple intelligences, which advocates personal growth through cooperation.

We had a wonderful time at Iberostar Waves Cozumel. This was our first time in Cozumel and we would return to this resort. We chose Iberostar because we loved the look of the small cabins and the resort. We were not disappointed. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The food was excellent. Lots of variety. The grounds were lush and well kept. The service was excellent and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you to Jesse and Alfredo, two helpful concierge at the front desk. Our highlights were a snorkeling trip with two great guides (Wally and Tania). So much fun. And you leave right from the pier on the resort. And renting a car for the day and exploring the island. We had a wonderful lunch at Coconuts on the east side of the island. Tips: Beach shoes are needed in the water because it's quite rocky and difficult to walk but you can enter the water by the boardwalk. You need to get your own taxi to the hotel from the airport. It cost $30 US to the resort, but went up to $35 US to the airport. Palapa’s were hard to get after 9:30 if you are looking for shade.

Fun Entertainment Team!!!
The entertainment team was truly amazing! They did such a great job getting guests to engage in all activities. They really enhanced our experience at the resort. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff!
The star team has been so kind and entertaining. Especially Jerry/Gerry/Gerardo who took the time to have breakfast with my mom and I today (US Mothers day). He works hard and always has a smile on his face! Always looking forward to the activities.

Great All Inclusive Dive Resort
We enjoyed our stay at WAVES. The scuba diving was fantastic and the resort is centrally located near all the best reefs. The resort staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were good. The rooms were a little rustic but clean and nice. Our concierge, Natalie was a great help. Guest services were attentive to our needs. Manolo, the yoga instructor was a very good instructor. Reyes made great drinks at the beach bar. Juan, Jose, Carlos, Wendy, Maria, Jorge made our stay a good one.

In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
- All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
