Beautiful resort, great value!
Came with a large group of friends and our 20 month old (the only kid). Resort is beautiful. It’s big but small enough to walk everywhere. It rained almost everyday we were there in the morning and evening. The hotel is set up in such a way you can walk from your room to dinner and show under cover from the rain. Staff and service is amazing, hard to single out anyone as they are all wonderful. Gabriel took great care of us at the buffet at dinner. Loved the pool side drink service, room service and all you could ask for. Star cafe was like a free Starbucks, loved it! They made drinks with real bananas not syrup flavour. Wifi is the best I’ve ever had, good all over the resort. Lots of chairs and umbrellas around the huge pool! That goes on forever. Our toddler loved the wave pool and kid area! Food was good, not fantastic. A la carts were ok, Japanese was really the only one worth going to. Our toddler got sick and the doctor on the resort, Martha, was amazing! Hard to say anything bad, The few complaints - our large group was spread out around the resort, would have been nice to be in the same building. We could only get a la cart reservations for 8:30 and 9pm, which sucked with a toddler. It was a bit annoying to arrive and see the restaurants not full, so issue was staffing not space. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for the value. The only reason I would not return is the beach is a short walk through a marsh and I prefer to have the pool overlooking the ocean. We only made it to the beach once as it was a bit of a pain for a toddler. Ocean is too rough for him to wade in the water and it gets too hot to play. There are also no ocean view rooms.
Entertaing and wonderful time with Gilberto. Activities were very nice at the pool and at the beach. Amazing ocean views and drinks. Great food and service. The pool is very nice and well kept. Great entertainment at night with shows.
I went to the Lindo at the end of October and it was such a beautiful resort! Everything was amazing, food, activities, amenities. Hotel is clean and modern. There’s something for everyone there. Having access to the other resorts was very cool too, and allowed for so much variety. The highlight for me was the entertainment team, specifically Erik. He really made sure that people were having a good time and was such a nice guy. Only part I was not a fan of was the beach as there is a lot of seaweed in the ocean but that is out of the control of the hotel anyways. Food was surprisingly quite good, a lot of variety at the buffet and the Japanese restaurant was amazing. Overall an amazing time, already planning my next trip there :)
Best place to vacation!
