Our experience overall was very good. The food was excellent, drinks were excellent although we enjoyed the vantage club upgraded spirits. We were not great fans of the beach area. Lots of stairs to climb, rocky in spots in the water. The music starting at noon was loud and annoying, unless you are a fan of retro. The food in the resto was excellent but for us, the beach area was not up to snuff. Pools were nice, basically 3 pools with different temperatures in each. Rooftop was very cold but refeshing. Exercise pool was warmer but still refreshing, especially when doing workouts with Dane and his wife. They are great. Shout out to Jesus , the pool waiter and Alexandre in the morning buffet. Both were great.

Excellent Cancun Getaway
Had an excellent 5-night stay at the stunning Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. Located just a short 15-minute ride from the Cancun Airport, and nestled on a beautiful lagoon- it was the perfect location. The staff was the best part of our stay. EVERY single staff member was happy and helpful and truly went out of their way to ensure you were having a great stay. Some noteworthy staff include Eduardo, Pablo and Jose from the beach club, Angel, Marta, Roman, and Jesus from the hotel bar/pool staff, and Ana and Beatrice from the spa. The second area of excellence was the food and drinks. The food and drinks were truly top-notch for an all-inclusive. The portions, quality, freshness, and overall presentation/inconsistency from the various food venues was fabulous. The hotel itself was beautiful, modern, and easily accessible. It was easy to move around, find open spaces for lounging, and plenty of activities to keep you busy. Finally, the hotel's beach club enhanced the entire stay and vacation. The beach club was INCREDIBLE. After requesting a ride to the club, the wait was never more than a few minutes to shuttle over. The shuttle was fun with lively music and excellent and professional drivers. Once you arrived at the beach club, you truly felt like you were whisked away to somewhere very intimate and exclusive. The views of the ocean, elegant loungers, and white sand beaches were unreal. Additionally, again, the staff elevated the beach club experience as well. Being able to lounge, walk the beach, and enjoy a sit down restaurant experience for lunch was a phenomenal way to spend the day "off" the resort, but with all of the amenities of the Hyatt. Thank you Hyatt for a great vacation!

Had a great Time!
Me and my wife stayed at the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island for 4 days in November 2024. It was a great experience. We loved the ambience and general environment. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was good. There were also a number of fun activities conducted each day. I personally enjoyed the live music and other live performances. The one area they could improve is that there was some pool cleaning noise heard on the 11th floor room where we were staying. The pool being on the floor above us. This is still a fairly new facility and some construction is still ongoing. The beach club was great. They have a shuttle which operates every 30 minutes or so and is very convenient to get to the beach club. The restaurants were all good. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast and lunch buffets. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our trip.

Amazing
Resort is beautiful and so are the rooms. The staff is incredible! Vantage club bar is worth the upgrade. Rigoberto and Kevin make great drinks. Friendly and fast. 10/10 service I couldn’t ask for a better time. Espresso martinis and passion fruit mojitos were delish. Also they have green chartreuse!

Great Stay
My wife and I stayed at this resort November 9-16, 2024, joined by another couple we are friends with. Just as with many other resorts we have stayed at, the staff were the best quality of this resort. The quality of service, courtesy, and work ethic of the staff was fantastic. We purchased the Vantage Club option for this resort and recommend this upgrade for the benefits, such as an upgraded suite, special bar lounge, served breakfast, and access to the rooftop infinity pool (during our stay the rooftop pool was available to all patrons until the last two days of our stay, then only Vantage Club members had this benefit). Our corner room was very large, beautiful, and had a gorgeous view of the lagoon and golf course. The buffet breakfast had plenty of options and great food. We typically had snacks at the rooftop pool for lunch. The rooftop pool was a perfect place to hang out. The pool concierge ensured lounge chairs were properly reserved. Make sure you introduce yourself to him and inform him when you will leave for short amounts of time to make sure he knows you are coming back. No live music here, but recorded music was provided. Service at the rooftop was excellent, as were the food items provided by the servers. The fitness room was small but provided enough equipment for most patrons (this was also on the rooftop). Our favorite dinner location was the Japanese restaurant (Oishii). The restaurant is on the rooftop and can be a little windy at night, but the food is worth it. Our second favorite was the French restaurant (Le Lys). Vivid Bites (food truck), Fresco Ceviche, and The Hub provided meals that were very good for a light lunch. Find the Serenity Bar and Terrace for drinks and a nice view at night. Make sure you visit the Beach Club. You will not be disappointed. Two small pools and a nice beach with plenty of lounge chairs will ensure your visit is pleasant. The restaurant there has excellent food too. I would return to this resort again. Presently, the price is well below what I expect it will rise to. Jump on it! I would like to recognize several of the best staff members we had the pleasure of meeting: Carlos, Guillermo, Emilio, Juan Eusebio, Andrew (all at the rooftop pool area), and Eduardo (aka Homey) server at the breakfast buffet and Vantage Club breakfast.
