Great location walking distance to shopping and restaurants A taxi to the wall old city only 10k pesos around $3 us very safe location and friendly staff the breakfast was above average will love to go back soon
We loved the location as it was very convenient and overall safe. Convenient amentities and their restaurant has amazing food! We went as a couples getaway and it was very nice. I would recommended Cartagena to everyone!
Good Hotel, Good Experience
I stayed here last February. The staff are friendly and they react quickly to any problems that arise. We had a bathtub backup on our first room and they placed us in a much nicer room at no additional cost. They light the hotel at night in an Emerald Green light, which is beautiful. The hotel has beach views available. It sits at a corner where you have to pharmacies, stores, a money exchange and numerous restaurants. You are within 2 blocks of a Juan Valdez Coffee Shop and it's worth the 2 block walk. This is a great place to stay and I would recommend it.
Beware of the gringo hating employee
I visit Bocagrande and travel in Colombia about 3 months each year. I have stayed at this hotel many times. But never again. The pool bartender was terrible and retaliated with gringo hating language when I refused to tip him!!! He was slow and arrogant. This ignorant bartender apparently things guests don’t speak Spanish and he can insult them to our face. This hotel hires people like this and it will no longer have the benefit of my travel dollars
