My second time to the Hilton and 5th time to Aruba. I would definitely stay at the Hilton again. Friendly staff, facilities are nice, the beach is perfect, close and convenient proximity to restaurants. Reservation for palapa is online. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Note - Last year all palapas were free. This year they started charging for the ones closest to the ocean which wasn’t a great surprise.
Loved the location of the Hilton. Close to everything. Everyone at the resort was so nice & friendly.
Besides the great location the Hilton is located, we enjoyed eating lunch at Gilligan's with a great view of the ocean. During our first visit, we had Carlos as our waiter, and requested him every time after that. Carlos was very friendly, cheerful, professional & knowledgeable. He was extremely delightful to engage conversation with and very clear English. He is an asset to your staff. He was the reason we come going back to Gilligan's for lunch.

Hotel and location is great - check -in is a nightmare! Beautiful beach and weather... Good location to walk or take a taxi...very friendly people. Restaurants are nearby or a taxi cab away. For a romantic dinner try Passions on the Beach...
NJ Teacher's convention long weekend.
Our next door neighbor talked us into going to Aruba. ( They have been vacationing there since 1980's and they love it.). We chose to go there in November because of NJ teacher's convention week. We were not disappointed. Hilton was not our 1st choice but the stay there was spectacular. The location is great, the grounds are immaculate, the rooms are freshly renovated and the bathrooms are amazing. Furthermore, the staff is wonderful, extremely pleasant and always willing to help with even the stupidest of requests. We really, truly rested there. Special thanks to Cecilia Solaro and Deysi from the Laguna restaurant where we had our daily breakfast. They made us feel very welcome every day there. As the matter of fact special thanks to the entire stuff of the Laguna Restaurant. They were all very attentive and helpful and they made us look forward to breakfast on daily basis. Furthermore many thanks to the beach guy whose name starts with a D but his full name escapes me. He was great. He would always help us with finding our palapas or missing towels no matter how hot or inconvenient it was. Finally, great thanks to the guy at the check out counter who gave us the late check out at the last minute. His name started with a R but since it was very foreign to me I could not remember it. He allowed us to enjoy our last day of stay at Hilton to the fullest . Thank You all for making this trip an unforgettable experience.
Such friendly people
This hotel was incredible to us. We had a very sick child and the night manager (I am so sorry I didn’t catch his name-because of the stress of the situation) personally drove us to the ER with our daughter vomiting in the backseat (totally unrelated to the resort food or experience in case that’s the assumption) and then asked the day manager to do the same. The night manager called when he was back on duty to check in. The front desk folks wrote us a letter saying we had to check out early due to her illness and asked that we receive a refund from Costco (through whom we bought the trip). Everyone working there was so helpful if we needed anything. I’m just extremely grateful we stayed in such a beautiful and accommodating hotel. I highly recommend because of the service and the fact that it was not super crowded and everything was easily accessible. Many thanks to their kindness and caring!
