Beautiful place, clean and friendly.
My partner and I visited from the UK for 2 weeks and had the most fantastic time! While the luxury of the trip was nice, it was the people that really made our stay. The staff are great fun, kind and helpful. EVERY member of staff when passing would say hi, smile or check in with us. Had we ever needed anything there was plenty of opportunity for it to be sorted. A special thanks to Leighton the concierge who was very helpful during our stay and Clive from the buffet who cooks up the most wonderful pasta dishes, served with a grin! I had anticipated food being slow service, but was pleasantly surprised with how quick we were always fed! The view is beautiful, and a short walk down the beach takes you to a market where you can get your hands on fresh lobster and crab which was awesome! Food with a view! YS falls was my favourite excursion, jumping, swinging and swimming through the waterfalls! We also enjoyed a game of volley ball most mornings which was great fun. Room service was a little slow, but you could rarely be hungry with the amount of options on offer. The martini bar was always good fun, there was one chap who worked the bar always in a white shirt (who's name has escaped me) who was brilliant! creating cocktails for us to try, even if they weren't on the menu. As football fans we were pleased to be able to access the games both in our room and in the sports bar. Thanks for a great trip.
Wow wow wow
I’m not writing a long review. All I have to really say is omg. What a hotel absolutely amazing in every way there is not one bad review. I will state one thing the Jamaican blokes on the beach constantly calling you over to buy drugs is really really annoying and u feel like u have to walk around just to avoid them they ask u at least 5 times a day very annoying please get rid of them royalton to make a perfect hotel. The transfer is about 2 hours but this can’t be helped. Thanks for reading
Staying at the resort right now and it is beautiful, however everyday we see this coporate guy (Mario) working in the marche and he is just terrible to the employees (pushing and running into people then looking at them like he wants to kill them). Its makes me vexed to see someone going on like he does with his angry, intimidating demeanor. I feel bad for the other workers who have been nothing but amazing and deserve better. He needs to be reprimanded and moved to a position that is away from customers or just send him away from Jamiaca because this place is supposed to be about good vibes. I love the resort and would give it a 5 star but I dont condone this type of behaviour and wouldnt come back knowing that this guy is here.
Just returned from Royalton from an 8 day stay.. What a great vacation. If people aren't happy here, then there is no pleasing them. Was there with 7 teenagers and my wife. The resort is immaculate and very modern. The grounds are pristine and very well manicured. The beaches are well groomed, white sand and turquoise water. The food is amazing. The buffet has a huge variety and everything is delicious. There are 7 additional restaurants, , we went to the Italian. Tex Mex, Japanese, Steak house, and Indian, No reservations required except for the Japanese restaurant. never waited more than 5 minutes to get in. The Japanese and Italian were our favorite. The staff were very friendly, super accommodating and the resort managers were allays around from morning to night to make sure everything ran well, which it did. Did the glass boat excursion. Kids liked it, however for the amount of time and cost, I should have rented a taxi and went into town on our own. Jamaica is very friendly, and the people great. Its very safe and don't be afraid to venture off in town on your own. The locals on the beach will ask if you are interested in things. If not just say no thanks and they leave you alone. Tipping goes a long way obviously, but not a must. IF YOU AREN'T HAPPY HERE, THERE IS NO PLEASING YOU. This resort is the best in Negril. by far.Was fun, relaxing, as a vacation should be. Definitely returning.
