Fantastic view, comfort and breakfast
The room was spacious and offered an incredible view. The shower was one of the best I've ever experienced in my life (still being fondly remembered 8 months later...) The breakfast buffet was so diverse you could have a full meal each day for a week and not have any repetition. And of course there's the pool, and the memorabilia etc.
Fantastic Vibe ! Beautiful Hotel
We stayed 5 days and didn't want to leave. Everything from the incredible pools with sweeping views, the restaurants, the nightlife, the rooftop bar, the service was top notch. We often travel to Panama and will never stay anywhere else again.
Excellent service, modern hotel, great food, amaxing views!
We booked this hotel as part of an Air Transat Duo. Was supposed to be 5 nights in Rio Hato at the Royal Decameron, and 2 nights here at the Hard Rock. We didn't like the Royal Decameron so we decided to leave early and book two additional nights here. We booked those through expedia and ended up in a presidential suite for a great price. When we checked in, we let the front desk know that we had another reservation (for a basic room) and asked if it would be possible to just keep that room for all 4 nights. The person at the front desk didn't even hesitate. She said yes, no problem at all, and she didn't even ask us to pay an upcharge for staying in that huge suite for the other two nights. That was a great first impression of the service you'll get there. The suite itself was huge, about 1,100 square feet. 2 full bathrooms, separate bedroom, another sleeping area, living room, kitchen. It did have a leaky faucet in one bathroom which they fixed. And it was so humid in the room you could feel the dampness. We asked for a dehumidifier which they brought up. It made a huge difference. The hotel looks incredible. It's modern, with great Hard Rock decor. The restaurants, bars, and common areas are beautiful, even the bathrooms are stunning. The pool is fantastic. There are four stand alone hot tubs on the deck, with plenty of areas for sun and shade. Views are amazing. I found service at the bar indifferent. The restaurants were excellent. Ate a Tauro twice, Soy once, and Ciao once. We had the buffet breakfast and lunch twice, and it was the best buffet we've ever had. The quality and selection of food was incredible. The concierge was able to arrange a day long tour with a local tour guide for a reasonable price. We tried to get our son into the gaming room one afternoon, and we did, but it seems to only open if you ask someone in the spa to call someone to have them open it. They have some gaming systems, and some basketball nets, but not much else. No one spoke much English in that area of the hotel which is fine, just made it a little more difficult. All in all this is a great hotel in a great location, with friendly staff, great restaurants, and excellent amenities.
Predicable is not a bad thing... you know what you're getting and can count on it for the taste you desire. Our waiter was perfect! Warm, friendly, and came by to check on us enough so that we didn't need a thing for long, but not so often to be a nuisance. Was somewhat surprised that there were not many artifacts in this one like most others, but it's all good! Our food was promptly served, hot, and plentiful. Well worth the visit (although it can be a little hard to find in the evening).
An excellent hotel for a business trip with an amazing location to reach by cab the old town (Casco Viejo). Staff is friendly, the gym is well suited and the hot tubs are certainly appreciated. Bar in the 62nd floor is not great in terms of cocktails but it features a killer view.
