    Family and anniversary celebration

Playa Grande is a great resort, accommodating 2 full baths are key if you have family with you. Conveniently located to the Marina and town. We truly enjoyed beach party and Mexican Fiesta. There are few individuals that made our stay extra special, Alejandra in the sports bar who is beyond just being a waitress, Sergio in concierge who is so genuine you think he’s part of the family. A couple of mishaps that was an annoyance to our entire 2 week stay. Never ending construction by the pool which should have taken a couple of days if they had more workers. Constant smoking in and around the pool area without designated smoking areas that should be on the other side of the pool since the wind from the ocean will blow it inland. What’s more annoying, we’d brought up these 2 issues directly with resort 3 weeks ago, no acknowledgment or response still.

    Entertainment Crew

Had a wonderful time ! I had the pleasure of meeting Bruno Mars twin. This young man has the brightest smile and beautiful personality. I hope he continues to be a part of the Playa Grande Team !! Keep up the good work.

    It Was Fine...

We returned from our five night stay at Playa Grande last night. This was our first visit to this resort, and our fourth trip to Cabo in the past 24 months. PRO's Grounds and all public areas were immaculate. Pools and surrounding areas were clean and well maintained. Drink service was very good -- cocktails were appropriately strong, and consistent in their taste. Location allows for a relatively easy walk to both the marina and a number of good dining options in the blocks north of the marina. Bedding was very comfortable. Check-in and check-out process were hassle-free and efficient. CON's It got a little old getting "pitched" every time we strolled through the lobby. Room furnishings were a bit dated and showing some modest wear and tear. The beach, while quite beautiful, is not swimmable. We knew this going in, but wanted to see what it was like staying on the Pacific. Having to pay for WiFi and fitness facilities seems a bit excessive in this day and age. In Summary... prices at Playa Grande were quite reasonable and the pro's outweigh the con's. If being on a swimmable beach is not a priority, I think Playa Grande would meet the needs of many travelers. If you want to be "in the middle of the action," you'll probably find the place a bit sleepy.

    Amazing!!!

This resort is perfect! From the lovely, friendly, and fun Salma and theor amazing entertainment staff who kept us laughing and having a blast with games and activities to the absolutely beautiful resort itself! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and very clean and the grounds, and pools are so beautiful and well taken care of! There’s tons of available, super comfortable pool chairs all with a great view and huge towels! The food is delicious, the drinks are delicious, and there’s a great selection of everything! The housekeeping was amazing and it showed that they took pride in their work! The beach is quiet and beautiful with no vendors! It didn’t bother us at all that we couldn’t swim in the ocean here, just walking the beach where we could enjoy both the beautiful sunrise and sunset and walk to an adventurous hike over the rocks to lovers beach was more than enough! We came for a little getaway just me and my husband but we cannot wait to come back with our daughters! They will love it here! Thank you for the memories!! ❤️

Salma and the entertainment crew were awesome! We had a blast with the activities! We loved this place!!! The people were great (staff and fellow guests) and the resort is beautiful, just a great atmosphere! The taco stand near the beach pool bar has some of the best tacos we have ever had! The housekeepers definitely took pride in there work and it showed too! We will be back with the kids next time!
