Park Royal Grand PV
Nice resort and staff. Private beach but limited dining options on property and none near the resort. Israel at the front desk was amazing in providing exceptional service and information. On the accommodation a, I reserved an Ambassador suite that turned out to be simply 2 separate hotel rooms, very disappointing.

I never dreamed I'd be staying so close to the beach! The staff at GPR took exceptional care of us during our recent 6 day vacation. The resort is off the beaten path nestled among upscale resorts and the most beautiful views. Sunsets from our balcony were breathtaking. The private beach is well kept and conveniently close to the pool bar and fun activities for adults and children. Staff regularly spotted throughout our trip tending to the pool and beach area, as well as the bathrooms which was nice. The Sports bar was a blast for karaoke night and tasty drinks. Our DJ even got us to sing and was very sweet. She did an excellent job getting everyone engaged and played all our requests. Three restaurants and a buffet as well as room service and mini-bar (bottled water, beer, soda) provided options for every appetite. The cooks even prepared and served a lovely Rooster fish caught by big brother on a private fishing excursion earlier. 20 minutes by taxi to Old Town, and there's typically one or two waiting to take you. The food was okay, but GPR is fairly new and I'm hopeful they will broaden and fine tune their menus to perfection. My first visit to PV, and I'm definitely returning to Grand Park Royal! I recommend it.
We had an excellent vacation. Waiter Isiaas and Pasquale at the Italian restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Our entire experience with all staff was great. The food was all good and consistently good, whatever we had. Perhaps it was our room, but the WI-Fi was not consistent. If you were connected and on a page, when you switched pages, you would often get the message you were not connected. This is the only reaso I did not give this location a 5.
Good outside of city location, great beach, no sport entertainment, food is POOR etc..
Rooms are great and clean BUT pillows / mattress not confortable. You hear waves noice all day and night. Kids club open but not always on its time. Only 2 restaurant property. Mexican and Italian. Italian doesn't accept kids! (Is it really family friendly resort??) Usually only 1 buffet open, but food is not so quality. (Poor) .Not much veriety of food choice. No fruits at lunch and diner, and no fruits at snack bar. Lines at buffetThe bar opens too late after 11:30am. No water provided on bar table. Always have to ask for water. No other activity's except dance and bingo game. No ping pong, pool, table soccer... Nothing. There is no non-motorized activity/equipment. Kind of borring, but relaxing on beach, you MAY swim even if the flag is always RED. Tony is the best and only one the most entertaining person in this Resort, as well as Brandon, Tahobe, Fienanda, Heidy, Wendy, Dolce. They try their best but seems that management don't give them a spin very much. NEED some improvement on that!!! for sure! MORE QUALITY OF FOOD NEEDED. Other than that it's not so bad! Last but not least: Very few staff people speak English!
Lots of noise
A very nice property but too much noise. One end of the pool had people playing games and using microphones and the other end of the pool had music. All while the ocean was playing 😊 I really would have preferred to hear the sound of the ocean. Breakfast buffet was ok, as was lunch but nothing luxurious as the name would suggest. All in all just an average place to stay.
