Awesome workers with great service!!!
Oscar Zuniga from the adult bar at the Infinity pool definitely made the trip much more enjoyable than could have been imagined! He works as one of the bar waiters. He was very swift with his service and above all courteous and professional. The other workers there had good service as well but not at all to be compared to match his. As a waiter I definitely feel he went above and beyond compared to other resorts I’ve gone to. In addition to all this, his integrity showed me how much of a good person he is because i left my new $400 glasses at the bar to which he kept safe and made sure they were returned back to me and for that I’ll be forever grateful considering I just got them before heading to my trip! If you get the chance to go, look out for him! He’s awesome. 10/10 would return to the Grand Palladium & appreciate that they have workers like Oscar Zuniga.
Nice hotel shame about the caged animals
Nice hotel with very well kept grounds, nice beach, excellent value for money. The staff are excellent, buffet ok, a la Carte restaurants better. The not so good is the ‘sanctuary’ I am sure the management will reply stating that it is a sanctuary and that the animals have been saved and are here for their own benefit. Unfortunately the animals are caged in very small enclosures, they are clean but somewhat baron. It is very unfortunate that in this day and age animals are kept in this manner as a tourist attraction. It is even more unfortunate when you consider the natural surroundings of the area. I am sure the animals could thrive given the chance. Even if possibly not it would be better than spending their lives caged as they are.
I won’t go back. Maybe a 3 star resort
Haven’t been on inclusive in Mexico in about five years we finally got family together and had a family trip and we were less than happy. The staff who work at grand Palladium absolutely incredible but the communication is just terrible if one staff member told you one thing and another staff member would tell you another and another would tell you another. The food was OK at best with exception of Portofino which was absolutely incredible. The service and the Mexican restaurant was discussed today we were sitting there for a long time the order got five out of the six orders messed up and even though the sushi was delicious and it was one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had service in the hot room not air-conditioned made it unbearable. I feel like there is no general vibe there was no bulletin board of events happening that day if there was it would be a small announcement saying you have five minutes to get to where you wanted to be. I highly recommend grand Palladium Take advice from Real five-star resort and pull up their socks and get their stuff together
My husband and I just spent a wonderful week at the Grand Palladium. Honestly, I was nervous before leaving. I usually only travel with the same chain of resorts, but my husband wanted to try the Palladium chain. Reading some harsh reviews about lack of seating, bad food, and slow service I was concerned. All I can say now is the people who felt this hotel was not up to their standards must be extremely hard to please or a person that complains because they are just unhappy with life. WE LOVED IT HERE! Pros: -Beautiful views from every part of the hotel. There is the ocean, carved hills, and the lush greenery throughout the hotel -best buffet I’ve ever had at a resort. We usually went to breakfast around 9 am & lunch around 1 and we had wonderful food. -Ala Carte restaurants had a great selection with even better service. Elias, Javier, Alma, & Luis stuck out to me, but every server and hostess was kind and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the Mexican restaurant and went 3x during our trip. -Drinks at the Adult pool. AHH-MAZING!! Omar was serving drinks every single day to people in the loungers and in the pool. I unfortunately forgot to write down the female server’s name but she also was so hard working. In the evening Bernardo was making specialty drinks and he really learned what people liked and took it up 2 notches with personalized drinks. -The beach is not near as rocky as I was expecting and we enjoyed catching some waves. All of the water equipment was free for guests to use. -plenty of loungers and we never had an issue finding a seat. Cons -Small balcony. Oh well, we knew this going in and we barely spent any time in the room. -if you are physically disabled this could be hard for you to get around the resort. However, I just had hip surgery In December and I had no issues finding new paths that were easier to use to get around. If you made no effort to find a new area and complained then that is on you. *disclaimer- I did read where the salt water pool is public and the beach will fill up with locals on the weekend. It is being advertised in PV magazines as a hidden wonder of the area. So don’t be surprised if it is not just hotel guests on the beaches. This was never even an issue but I saw some complaining about this. You will still have beach side servers and plenty of loungers so don’t fret and enjoy your time! Thank you to every single staff member at the Palladium. I will definitely be back to this chain!
This was my second visit within three months. I love this resort. The place is super clean, the food is great and the service is the best and I love the private beach. . The staff rock! I would recommend this place to anyone.
