Wonderful Holiday Here !
Our third trip to Mexico and this was one of the best hotels we've seen. A very relaxed hotel within lush, tropical surroundings which created a very calm and peaceful environment. All staff kind and friendly, genuinely wanting to offer help. ( not just after tips like some hotel staff ) Food , activities , entertainment exceptional...cannot find any faults with this fantastic hotel.
Facility crew does not respond
3 days of calling to get AC looked did not get results. Finally got to management on last full day. AC was out of order and needed to fixed for whole villa. This caused two full nights of no sleep in humid and hot room and multiple days of showering and continue to sweat in room
From the moment we arrived receptionist were very welcoming and very helpful. We had our bell boys transport is to our rooms where they carried all our cases upstairs for us. The room maids are very nice and clean they come twice a day for fresh towels and to make beds up. The mini bar is stocked with beers and soft drinks this is free everyday. The entertainment is in the middle hotel the colonial this went from pool entertainment zumba, pilates, yoga, pool volley ball , pool polo , beach volley ball , bowls , table tennis and much more. The entertainment staff work so hard from 8.30am till 11pm changing into there night entertainment clothes. They really get the party going with teaching people how to dance. The pools are very clean and regularly swept and waiters are always around asking if you would like a drink. If you tip the waiters 20 pesos which is £1 they will come more regularly to you as the mexican wages are not as good as ours. The beach is 20 meters from the pool where there is a beach bar that serves food allday til 5pm you can order off the menu or just have a buffet lunch. The main restaurants are open breakfast dinner and tea and serve fantastic tasing food , the most deserts you've ever seen. There are about 10 sit down restaurants throughout the complex intalian, mexican , american , steak house, Japanese and more you have to book these on the day turn up. We prefered the buffet ones with kids though. I have stopped at some nice resorts all over the world in the past but can honestly say this will take some beating we are already looking at booking for next year here we liked it that much If i was to describe this place in one word I would choose PARADISE Big thanks to all entertainment team Adriana Adriana puga Diana Nadia Oliver Salvador Diago Alexa Omar Didi Ianko Dany Abraham Andy Thanks guys you really did make it a great holiday 😘🍸🍺🤭
Great holiday for all our family
Our family group consisted of 4 adults and 3 in their late teens / early twenties and we all had an excellent holiday at Grand Palladium Kantenah. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and all the staff are friendly and smile all the time There was some seaweed on the beach which was cleaned up everyday so the sea was not always clear enough to see many fish but it didn’t stop us swimming in the sea. The activity team worked really hard and a special thank you to Nadia and Salvador whose exercise classes and dancing classes were excellent. The younger ones enjoyed the gym, football on a 3G pitch and met up with others for a good night life on site We enjoyed the food in the restaurants on all 3 hotels and and the buffet had plenty of choice . lunch in the shade listening to the singers with their guitars was our favourite part of the day. We loved the fact there was so much live music and even had a flute playing whilst we were doing stretching exercises by the palm trees one morning. We spent an anxious few days waiting for an important document to come by fedex which got stuck in Cancun so a special thank you to Elizabeth and Teresa at guest services who did all they could to contact the local Fedex office and get it delivered. One final thank you to our Tui rep Mayeli who is a mine of information and gave us really helpful advice We all came away having had a wonderful relaxing holiday except those in their late teens who had had such a good night life that they needed time to recover.
Lower than my expectations...
I tried at least 12 different hotel along all Maya Riviera and this resort has disappointed my expectations. I go through points: thematic restaurants: I tried the Italian one. The worst menu and plates ever tried in a foreign country. Horrible plastic gnocchi, over cooked spaghetti all melted with a no taste bolognese sauce. Beach: fantastic laguna. Prepared to find sargaso (seaweed) as in the last few years in all my experience in Riviera Maya. BUT Palladium has the worst organization in cleaning the beach shore. In 4 days only 1 day they cleaned the seaweed. I will attach a picture at 2pm.... what a shame!!!!! Generic/ central restaurant: really good breakfast, good lunch variety!!! Dinner doesn’t work... every day always the same... never so thing surprising. Night show: really good and professional Overall village: really nice location, it seems inserted in a magic forest. Nice and various swimming pools. WiFi Internet connection: really good everywhere. a first class service not expected. My reco: go back to cook better at dinner and clean properly the beaches and you will gain a full booked hotel that today is NOT...
