Feb 17, 2025The worst hotel ever - 1*
This hotel is like mental hospital! Hotel is very dated and ugly. Rooms are not sound proof. If you buy regular room and have a blue bracelet, that food is not even for pigs. Beach is not swimmable, huge waves and red flag for ten days. Entertainment guy is so loud and annoying, screaming and yelling like crazy. Most of the guests are very primitive young drinkers who yell and scream all night. It is impossible to sleep at this crazy hotel. Rooms are bad, service is even worse. They charge you even for the safety box 9USD per day. For the money we paid for our package and the money we paid for upgrade to eat like humans and not like animals, we could have stayed at 5 star hotel. Don’t trust their photos. This hotel is garbage.

Beautiful resort but absolutely terrible terrible food I wouldn’t feed it to my dogs. Here’s how they got ya they lost as an all inclusive but it allows buffet that cold. Hardly no protein. I asked to upgrade to more restaurants and they said it was gonna cost 2200.00 US. The one restaurant that requires a reservation was the Bahia steak restaurant we were asked 4x about a food allergy my friend stated she had a shellfish allergy. We saw other ppl walk in and served and walked out and he brought us a tray of shellfish appies🥹it was 11/2 hours and still no food we finally walked out. They tried to fix things by letting us eat at an upgraded restaurant which was fantastic. Drinks watered down no premium drinks just beer and pop in rooms. They cater to the Mexicans we no longer matter as a tourist. Spanish ppl use to be very friendly not no more it’s almost like we are the enemy now😢we stayed 9 days and it was 9 days too long. I will never recommend this resort to anyone. Cockroaches in hallways. They put Canadians and Americans in the shitrooms and all the Mexicans up front. Not impressed with the money I spent on this holiday.

The hotel is so big massive buildings. If you are looking for economic good simple that’s your but if your looking for luxury hotel it is not. The hotel. I had great e experience on breakfast Tadashi with staff Albert waitress and the guy who is make scramble don’t rember his name very nice always smile and very professional. Place is so big and busy we decided buy Beach club day to be more private. Albert staff of Cocoa Beach club e Was amazing staff nice make our day much better . I can say some 80% of the staff make difference the other 20 not at all .

POOR RECEPTION SERVICE
Extrimely unprofesional receptionist Nayeli Mejala rude, incompetent, slow. The worst experiences ever. I have to admit the supervisor was halpefull, but after 30 min of nervous and bad luck with her incompetence. Othervise hotel is not bad for a price, but they have to work on custemer services and staff training. Dragana

My experience at the Grand Oasis Cancun was deeply disappointing, largely due to the disheartening attitude of the receptionists. From the moment I arrived, I was met with cold indifference and a lack of hospitality that made me feel distinctly unwelcome. As a Black guest, I couldn’t shake the uncomfortable feeling that I was being treated differently. There was a noticeable lack of respect and warmth compared to how other guests were greeted. I was given a room of noticeably lower quality, and when I inquired about it, my concerns were dismissed without consideration. It was hard not to feel that this treatment was connected to my appearance. A resort of this stature should pride itself on inclusivity and exceptional guest experiences, but instead, I was left feeling marginalized and unwelcome. It’s disheartening to encounter this kind of treatment in a place that promotes itself as a paradise for all. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. No one should feel unwelcome or judged based on their race when seeking relaxation and joy. Until there’s a clear effort to improve cultural sensitivity and customer service, I can’t recommend this resort to others.
