5 Year Anniversary Trip
My husband and I decided to come to the Grand Cayman to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary. We chose the Marriott Grand Cayman because we are both Marriott Platinum members and also heard many good things about the hotel. Boy were we thoroughly impressed during our stay! As stated in other reviews,the staff are so attentive. We went to plenty of restaurants on the island but chose the Veranda for lobster night at the hotel. I have to say that it was the best meal we had during our stay. The waiter Michael provided excellent service and made sure that our experience was memorable. Niki and Kerri-Ann in Concierge were very helpful in scheduling our excursions and restaurant reservations. Evelyn in housekeeping checked in on us every morning to make sure we had everything we needed for our room. We did not come with our kids but the hotel is kid friendly (we would bring our kids back). Having gone to multiple island destinations in the past (Aruba, Jamaica, Hawaii, DR, Mexico), the Grand Cayman is at the top of our list. We will definitely be back and would stay at the Marriott Grand Cayman hotel again!
What a Gem!!!
Let me just say that this was just a pleasant surprise!!! When my husband and I first arrived we really didn’t expect much. From what we’ve heard, the rooms were dated, the beach was short, the hotel was small but lo and behold! The beach as small indeed but it didn’t hinder us from having a wonderful time. We were still able to secure spots and The water was beautiful! The customer service, food, and cocktails were awesome! Kudos to Gede, Aina, Nez, Vincent, Philip, Michelle, Abby,Walter, and Beth for making our stay worth the while! The food was unbelievable—- almost no reason to go out and eat somewhere else! The raw bar and sushi were absolutely divine! My husband and I also enjoyed the shishito peppers with sriracha aioli ( must try) and the chunky guacamole were absolutely delightful (were from Texas so that means a lot!)! Our favorite cocktails were the The Rookie(O.M.G😱— this drink wants you to throw caution to the wind and lick the glass clean) and the Gin and Tonic. Stay here! You won’t regret it! 😘
What a great dining experience
While dining at the Veranda, we experienced exceptional service from Shiva. He provided us with valuable insights regarding the resort itself, but his superior knowledge of the cuisine was admirable! He made our experience memorable and the food was fantastic!
Escape to Paradise
The hotel is amazing and the staff is so attentive! From checking in with Aina to the servers and beach attendants everything was spectacular. The hotel seemed full yet we did not have an issues getting pool chairs (with staff assistance). The only negative is the walls in the room are a bit thin, but then again if you are spending all of your time in the room you are doing it wrong!

Just got home today from the Marriott grand cayman.my friend I have stayed here at least 10 times and as usual it never disappoints.from Kate who does the check in to Danny at the bar and Daniel the food service manager everything was perfect. My only suggestion as far as the beach is concerned(yes it’s small) NOT THE MARRIOTTS FAULT, is that they or whom ever is in charge, please remove the large rocks that are in the water. It seems that every year that I return this problem is getting worse.i do realize that there were storms last year...but if this continues you will loose a lot of guests because of this one issue. No one wants to go into the water with so many rocks.can you please look into this issue.once again thanks for a wonderful stay.
