  Visita Punta Cana

  Beach not clean at all.

  We are here for three days already. It's our second time coming here. Not even a 4.5 hotel starts anymore. Eg. The beach used to be nice and clean, now it's full of weeds. They don't seem to care at all. If you take a nice walk on the beach , you can easily see the difference observing how clean the other places are. I am attaching pics. Also, make sure you don't say " no" when they come to clean the room. They will not come again. Towels, the same, takes one hour plus if you ask for it, if they are not changed. Internet is weak to none, poor coverage ( sometimes not even in the room). So, if you come to enjoy the swim, water, look for other places. They are plenty where is clean and nice.

  A good hotel, amazing animation team, food a bit disappointing.

  A bit disappointed with the food and that to book ala card restaurants was really difficult through the app (it worked only for the first day). Good was, that the area is super clean and safe, the sea weed was cleaned up regularly and the cleaning stuff was doing a good job. My highlight was definitely the animation team though! I was traveling solo, but never felt board or lonely if I didn't want to. The guys are doing an amazing job, giving 100%! I really enjoyed all the parties with the animation team. Thank you to Wirme, Luis, Juan for spreading the dancing and good mood energy all over the place! 💓

  Great place to stay, great service, great beach and multiple food options

  We have just returned from a week at this resort. We have traveled to many different all inclusives, and one was terrific. I will start with the service. Everywhere we went we had nothing but great service. Greeted with smiles, Hola's everywhere, and staff that wanted to make our stay great. We did witness rude people in some places but those were the guests...keep in mind give smiles, treat people with respect and you will get it back. Simple Whether it was the main buffet or beach buffet (much smaller, less options) the service was solid. Same for the a la carte restaurants and of course the 24/7 sports bar. (Try the buffalo wings...oh my. To die for! There were plenty of options of places to eat, and food was always solid (for all inclusive dining...keep that in mind). The food trucks at the beach area handy too throughout the day so lunch/snacks etc. They have ice cream shops, coffee shops, and gift shops on site too. The beach was very nice. Turquoise water, white sand, and cleaned daily. No issue with seaweed it was cleaned up. Loungers were always available at the beach no matter when we went. Didnt have to get up early and run to play the towel on chair game. Tons of chairs, tons in shade if you like that like. The pool area too always had loungers available, even mid day, in sun and shade. Check in process was simple. We arrived on a very early flight and they were able to accommodate early check in. Johansson (i think I got your name correct at check in desk) very polite, helpful and was even able to waive the early check in fee. Very kind, and he was very nice!! The casa del Mar beach bar is perfectly located on a quiet part of the beach. You can get water, coffee, non alcohol drinks and alcohol drinks. All of that was great, never long lines, and most importantly the service. Jose Louis was amazing all day. Kind, laughing and smiling and he was there everyday of our stay. He loves his job and talks to all guests with kindness. He makes good drinks too and often remembers guests, their drink choices and works hard. Speaks very good English too, so communication was fun. Nice to learn about his experiences and family too. (Management, please commend him, he was awesome). Guests, tip him well. He earns it. This property is quite large I will say. There is a fait bit of walking, but they also have little train carts that come by often for those who prefer a ride to cut down walking. We stayed in building 26 was closer to pool and beach, but also fairly central to go to lobby area/buffet etc as well. Beach was maybe 5 or 6 minutes walk, lobby 7 to 10? The grounds were well kept, and the birds on the grounds were neat to see daily. Peacocks, ducks, a parrot, and others. There was a small stretch on the walk through the ecological area that did have a terrible smell though. It was there daily, but if you walk quickly you are past it in 2 or 3 mins. The resort didnt appear to be sold out (Jan 9 to 16) and maybe that made things seem much smoother, easier for us. If you are thinking about booking a place, dont hesitate to choose the Grand Bavaro Princess. We did not updagre this trip to the platinum section but to be honest we felt like valued guests everywhere with all kinds of options of food/drink/great people taking care of us.
