This 24-hour paradise is set on a stunning stretch of beach perfect for watersports. Enjoy a complimentary hour per day trying watersports like windsurfing, snorkeling, and kayaking. Guests can also try the scuba equipment in the pool. Kids have special activities at the mini-club, while adults can relax and be in complete harmony at the spa (fee).

    3rd visit and will not be returning

    This was our third year coming here and I’m really sad to write this and I’ll say they food and restaurant service is still pretty good here. The first night we checked in at 10pm after a long travel day to get in our room and spot multiple cockroaches. Went straight away to the front desk to ask for another room and were basically told “no”. Instead they sent someone with a can of raid and they bombed our room with it grabbed the cockroaches we could see. We decided to let that air out and not fry our brain cells an try to find something to eat. Over all there was a lot “No” attitude most of the week which is just frustrating to say the least and then it just turned into a nightmare. The last 2 nights were just what drove me over the edge. The power went out at like 12 in our room since the phone also wasn’t working my bf got up and walked over to the lobby and could not find a single person so we just tried to sleep until morning. At about 7 am I went to the front desk in tears Exhausted just wanting to sleep so We could go enjoy our last full day and they just sent a repair man. They were in our room 8am -2 pm so we had to go find somewhere to chill an try to sleep? Yeah not happening in public. Low and behold our Lastnight the power again kicks off at midnight ish so after seeing how long took them to fix it the day before know we had a long entire day of travel we’d just ruff it and try to sleep with no Ac or power. Then around 2 a bucket or two of water start coming down from our ceiling by the door. Since we didn’t have a working phone and not in the mood to walk down to the lobby again we just used some towels to mop it up and try to go back to sleep. When we checked out we told them what had happened and we just got the “oooo that’s to bad” not even like I offer to maybe pay for a massage I got there maybe some store credits? nothing. Bottom line all of this would have never happened if they had just switched our rooms when we found roaches the first day and we could avoided having 3 nights of crappy sleep that really made us not wanna do most of our excursions we had plan an definitely not enjoy them like we wanted too. Also the restaurants were so difficult to book they only reso we could get with our friends was like 9pm. Maybe just go to a first come first serve policy and close earlier like some resorts are doing?

    Not so grand!

    Currently here on our honeymoon. The ride from the airport took hours and it was almost dark when we arrived. We were greeted with rose pedals on the bed, tiny box of chocolates, warm champagne, a broken refrigerator, a cheap little tote bag and 1 coffee cup. Day 3 and we finally have a refrigerator that cools. Still no in-room meal or robes and slippers. Have to call and beg daily for water and coffee for coffee pot. Housekeeping collects linens and does not replace them. We used yesterday’s towels as washcloths this morning. There is no drink service on the beach. You stand in line for cheap alcohol served in a kids cup after leaving your beach chair you’re not allowed to reserve. Asked if we could possibly get a coffee cup for each of us and were told no. Shops in resort charge $22 for coffee cups and double the price for a bottle of alcohol if you’d like something other than warm champagne and warm, cheap beer from your broken refrigerator. During breakfast, they were so busy setting up for lunch, we were never offered drinks. Maybe your 1 warm bottle given to you on day 1 is supposed to last you the week?

    excellent service and well kept

    We've been with Bahia Principe for a while now and there is not mcuh I can say except for excellence. The service was an amazing experience from the office to the staff, I would recommend this resort for those who are looking for comfort and service and etc...

    Fantastic Vacation

    This was my first trip to Mexico and the hotel didn't disappoint us. Everything was just perfect: yummy food, a fantastic beach, warm water, customer service and of course, fauna!!! Don't forget to book a table in one of 10 a la carte restaurants, in my opinion, Don Pablo is the best one.

    Awesome holiday

    Only back from our fabulous 7 nights holiday GBPT. Words can not really describe our perfect organised experience. Airport transfer included both ways it takes about only 1hour 10 min drive till resort. We arrived late night at about 1am fast check in , a bar was open near the beach so food was available for us at that time. We booked 2 bedrooms excellent condition spotless clean with all amenities you need in. The buffet extremely rich plenty of food looked all fresh and very tasty. We have a choice to book 3 diners in 3 different restaurant our favourite was Don Pablo the waitress was great with a huge sense of humour sorry forgot his name but the most amazing was the restaurant La Gourmet it's located in Coba have organised my birthday well I really enjoyed the food, red rose petals, cake and blown the candles and of course the glass of red wine I have ordered 😉 thank you to all restaurant team great customers skills. As well it was organised a Birthday banner attached on my bedroom door plus a bottle of sparkling wine + chocolates was left for me 🤗 very pleasant treat I will be asked if I recommend this resort?! Without any doubt I can recommend and j am sure everyone will enjoy their stay with you. Thank you again for our brilliant stay and for all the best services you offered us
