Hola! We came to generations for a first time with our whole family. The girls absolutely loved it every day and our butlers, Pablo and Jose were absolutely amazing! 🤩 they were always available when needed and so kind. When we went to Chefs market, Eloise was so sweet and kind. This whole trip was memorable for the whole family and extremely grateful! ☺️

luis was the only reason we would return he was amazing concierge/ butler!! the resort it self needs maintenance done this is our second time here first time was not best experience so we wanted to give it another try same issues pool tiles falling off and very sharp when step on pieces of metal shavings in pool from maintenance rooms need maintenance as well closet doors don’t shut dresser drawers falling out restaurant hardly any available and what was available was not great room service was better than some of the restaurants seaweed was so bad it’s smelled daily they weren’t even trying to clean it up i think there was just so much they gave up beach unusable definitely not 5 star resort and we price compared and the waldorf was same price and that is a 5 star the staff were amazing and honestly that is probably the only reason people return they need to make sure yo recognize their amazing staff because that is the only thing this resort had going for it

Great Family reunion
We had a wonderful experience, the 3 ladies that helped me check in at the Exotic members desk with the Family reunion group of 10 rooms were magical. 1 of the 10 rooms had passport issues and did not arrive. There was an issue with the type of rooms we had booked. I was told many times on the phone with reservations that we had a block of 10 rooms, 5 presidential with my benefits and 5 non presidential without benefits, The 10 rooms were to have a privacy slide between the king bed and the sofa. Glad we came 1 day before the rest of the family to find out the rooms did not have any privacy sliding doors The ladies went to work with a manager on duty and magically upgraded us to 1 bedroom suites. We were given to Pablo and Geraldo the butlers who also created magic for the whole group. My only negative was that Generations really does not have any swimming area in the ocean or lagoon.

Vacation bliss
We just returned from a relaxing weeklongstay at Generations resort Riviera Maya. My two kids and I stayed in a swim up suite, kept neat and clean by Elizabeth. We loved waking up to the swaying palm trees, and dipping into the pool with a perfect temperature. The staff were very welcoming. Our Butlers José Luis and Imelda went above and beyond to make us feel at home. In the morning, everyone who served us at the Market buffet impressed us with their attentive service. They would even remember a drink preference the following day. We also loved seeing Israel at Palms, who took every opportunity to make us feel comfortable. The chef at Palms also did a wonderful job. Another chef and team that really stood out was Marco, Julio and Bradio who made and served the chef’s table at the wine bar. This was such an amazing meal that we can’t stop thinking about with each course carefully crafted. Irene and Nancy at the spa, treated my brother and I to incredibly relaxing massages and nail treatments. It was the staff that made this trip extra memorable. We look forward to going back one day!

Great family resort, even for those with preteens/teens!
Beautiful resort. Great excursions offered with the more inclusive package. Food was great. Employees were kind and friendly! We had the BEST butlers, Luna and Eddie! They were amazing and made everything so easy! We plan to go again!
